This place is jam-packed with slides, chutes and flumes. Treasure Island is the place to head for little kids, filled with plenty of little slides and sprays. And right down the middle of the scale, you've got family favourites like a wave pool and lazy river.

Great choice, two hotels in one and a waterpark

Last week of the hotel being open and apart from most of the entertainment being cancelled we still had plenty to do and enjoyed ourselves. This hotel is large, made up of two hotels club and world, plus free entry to the waterpark. The food was a huge variety, the world side food was better than the club. The snack bar did lovely tasty pizzas in the outdoor stone fired oven and these went Down well with our six year old. My only gripe was the pesky wasps. You couldn't just lay on your sunbed without being harassed by wasps or flys. Made our days in the sun become a tad annoying at time. The wasps had manifested in to something I had never seen, bigger than hornets with large orange wings. The hotel have clearly had these for years as you could see the wasp nest underneath the hotel roof coves. Even swamped the beach and drapped around the pool bar drink dispensers. The hotel closes for six months in the winter, my suggestion to management is to remove the wasps nest, treat them, fly killers and wasp electric traps to help get rid of the problem. Two people while we were away got stung and must have been more too. This is the first holiday where we didn't get funny stomachs, good sign of good food hygiene, the toilets were clean and all sensored triggered, even the bathroom paper towel dispenser. The hotel was very clean and had all the comforts to help you have a comfortable stay. Iron in the room would have been a nice touch as only one on request via reception and the TV not turning on in the middle of the night would have been great as they were bright and woke me up alot lol Air conditioning not great in our room but the evenings dropped to 14c so this soon cooled our room. Take a cardigan or light jacket in the evenings for October half term week as was often quite cool in the evenings. I was glad I took tights, leggings and jeans. Staff weren't rude or over friendly but still polite. Hotel and waterpark was dead which was good as meant no queuing for anything. The water was cold as previous reviews have stated and the sea was warmer. Would recommend doing easyjet flights and joining it with as this saved us over 70pp to other people who booked through the tour ops. More

A brilliant resort for a fun family holiday !!!!!

11 of us went this year on a family holiday , the ages ranged from 2 years to 47 years and there was something for all of us. The waterpark is brilliant and is right on the doorstep so easily accessible. As seeing as it was high season we were pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn't too crowded , especially if you went first thing or later in the afternoon. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and the staff work really hard to keep it that way . Our room was overlooking the relax pool. We had a family room with a partition. The only gripe I would have is that it did smell of damp due to air con and also there wasn't very much wardrobe space, especially with four people in the room. The food I found really good. I honestly cannot see why people have complained on here .. there was so much choice every evening . During the day there was lots on offer ... grilled chicken, kebabs , hot dogs , fresh pizza, doughnuts, pancakes, salads, fresh soup , ice cream .. the list is endless... There is a swap shop in reception which my 8 year old made the most of with an endless supply of unwanted inflatables and sun creams ! The pool areas are fantastic, we are not early risers and at other resorts we have always ended up being stuck for sunbeds. Not here, there are so many lovely areas to sit and so many pools you could always get a nice place to sit and there was never a shortage of beds, either right next to the pool or in the shade... no matter where you were there is always a bar or snack bar close by. Another thing we loved is the fact that there are two indoor pools, one which has slides and inflatables for the kids. On really hot days the younger children loved going inside and playing in the shade until it cooled down a bit . The kids club was great too . It is held in a huge air conditioned ' circus tent' .. there were two sessions during the day and then they did stuff of them early evening too... film nights, mini disco etc.. The ladies that run it are lovely and my daughter couldn't wait to get in there every day. The entertainment team are brilliant. They work so hard and are so friendly and really make you feel special. They were all lovely but especially Baran ..... he always had a smile and time for everyone , we were so sad to say goodbye to him on the last day . The evening entertainment was really good too, which must be hard as there are no many different nationalities at this hotel . The dance shows were very professional and the fire shows amazing . The pool parties and the beach foam parties are great fun for all the family . Guest relations were very helpful and answered all of our questions when we asked for information about the local area etc.. They even took time to find a screwdriver one day to help my daughter put new batteries in a toy she had bought ! All in all , we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at this hotel and I cannot find fault with anything or any member of staff, We have already booked up to return next August and we are counting down the days !!!! A place I would never wish to spend my holidays

Spent here suprisingly 8 nights (9 days) on business and not on vacation. Therefore didn't have the chance to test most of the all inclusive options and leisure activities, but the time I spent here is much more than I would wish to spend at such place during my holidays. My room was quite okay, good size with a large wardrobe space and a nice balcony. Hotel in general is kept in good condition and cleanliness is also okay. Gardens are nice, beach is nothing special, but good. They have Tuborg gold on tap to mention another positive thing. What I didn't like is the attitude of the hotel staff, not all of them, but especially the hotel manager was very arrogant. And the food? It is just satisfactory if you go for quality instead of quantity. There are a lot of options but all of them are mass quality and most are tasteless. A really give something to the guests and they will eat is because they paid for it. It would be a great place if they could improve the food, but still it's too big for me to choose for holidays. Great Half Term Break

Our family of four (daughters aged 12 and 5) thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Aquafantasy over the October half term. Maybe if some of the detractors on here put as much effort into researching their hotel prior to booking than that which they put into moaning about it afterwards, there would be less to complain about, but hey ho. I will try not to repeat the comments made by many others, although some elements are hard to avoid. Arrival is generally late due to the flight times and whilst you are provided with a map, it can be a task to locate your room. When we arrived, the restaurants had finished for the evening, but there was at least some soup and basic fuel on offer. The rooms, as mentioned by others, are split between two hotels within the same resort. We were on the, 'World' side, whereby the rooms proved to be just what you'd expect, save for the fact that the kids' section could be separated from the main part via sliding doors. I would echo another reviewer's comment that the air con was somewhat lacking in power, but not so as to ruin our sleep. It was pleasing not to have to pack beach towels as these are provided free - our beach towels would have probably taken up the paltry luggage allowance for one suitcase alone. There is chargeable wifi available, although this is free in the reception of the 'Club' side of the hotel (outside the Italian restaurant). There are two buffet restaurants, the Oasis being on the World side and the Tropicana on the Club side. We found the Tropicana to be more light and airy in comparison to the Oasis. Overall, we found the food fine - better than our previous experience of all inclusive at a different hotel. There is certainly a vast choice, including provision for the traditional British palate. Some reviewers have commented that waiters did not bring drinks. We had no problem getting our own drinks as well as our food and could often take a bottle of wine from the various stations, rather than keep going back and forth to the restaurant's bar. Our only issue with the whole buffet thing was the sheer number of people buzzing around the various food stations, but this is simply a consequence of the buffet concept. In any case, whether it was due to the time of year or not, we could always find a quiet corner to dine. In addition to the two buffet restaurants, there is an Italian, a Chinese and a Fish restaurant, one of which you are able to visit per stay in your all inclusive package. There is also a Steakhouse, which is always subject to an additional charge. We enjoyed our meal at the Flamingo (fish restaurant). If you wished to avoid the buffets at lunchtime, some of the various bars served snacks for the burger and chips brigade, and fresh waffles were also available during the afternoon. Whilst on the subject of food and drink, as mentioned by others, ice cream cones are available between 12:30pm and 2:30pm (in the buffet restaurants only). We didn't see this as an issue as our kids looked forward to an ice cream with lunch, rather than pester us morning, noon and night. I guess the same could be said for us in terms of the cocktails being restricted to 4:30pm to 7:30pm as we enjoyed a few pina coladas as sundowners at the beach bar. The beach itself is nice without being stunning. The sand is not of the soft white variety, instead being more 'muddy' in colour. This is, in turn, reflected in the colour of the sea water, which is not crystal clear as you might expect. That said, the sand is combed early every morning and the beach bar is a lovely place to enjoy the view. There is a pier/jetty, which is nice to stroll along. Water sports are also available, all subject to extra charge with the exception of canoes/pedaloes, which are free.. The pools were plentiful (we counted nine including the adults only and the two indoor pools). Water temperature could best be described as bracing at this time of year. However, the time of year was also in our favour in terms of sunbed availability - no issues whatsoever. The adjacent waterpark, in my view, is what really made our family holiday. Fortunately, our youngest just made the 120cm minimum height, which was in place for most of the rides and slides. The waterpark was due to close for the winter on our last day of the holiday, which meant that the park was very quiet all week - hardly any queues at all. Whilst all food and drink is chargeable in the waterpark, this could be easily avoided by popping back through the gate to the hotel. The evening entertainment in the amphitheatre ceased after a day or so of us arriving - once again due to the time of year I guess. This didn't bother us too much, although we would have liked to experience the beach foam party, which was scheduled for 3:30pm Friday, so couldn't really see why this too had stopped. I can't comment on Kusadasi (markets/shops etc.) as we were more than happy to park ourselves at the hotel/waterpark for the week. The hotel does have its own shops, which sell goods at fixed prices. I would imagine prices are higher than the markets, but hassle free. By way of example, fake Superdry and Hollister hoodies were 20 euros each. A couple of final points. On the final day, checkout is noon, but you can store you luggage in a room near Reception. This room contains a set of luggage scales, which is useful if you are running the risk of excess baggage fees on account of all of your new 'designer' clothing. Overall, we had a great week and would recommend this hotel. We shall be returning and I guess there is no better compliment than to be a returning guest. Thank you to all at Aquafantasy Hotel and Spa.More
