Best family holiday we've been on!! Loved it!!
This was the first time we had been on holiday to Turkey. The pictures on the website were spot on!! The hotel was fantastic, the staff were friendly and very helpful. I couldn't fault it one bit!! I would highly recommend this holiday! More

Just returned after 7 days, 10 would have been better. We booked last minute and paid £420 each which we think was a great deal, we asked for rooms next to each other which we got. Only negative was the rooms do look a bit tired compared to website photos ( we were on world side) but did not affect our holiday. Every day beds made, towels changed, and fresh bottle of water. All staff really friendly always someone cleaning up and clearing tables. entertainment team and First choice team friendly but not overbearing. Food, there were themed nights Mexican was our favourite, always found something nice, people pile their plates with so much of a mixed variety then say they're bored with it, you can easily have something different every day if you choose properly. Steak house great value and all agreed steak was great quality, 100 lira for 4. We had free meal at Italian night which was okay but most said Chinese was best, nice to be waited on. Pearl bar was our favourite snack place we used this lunchtime instead of restaurant best beef kebabs we've ever had. Went to planet yukka which we enjoyed it was about 400 lira for 4 of us we had 2 courses and 2 drinks each (2 being Guinness) and received a free platter of fruit for desert. Makes a nice change, didn't think Figo who comes round was annoying at all if you politely said no he left you alone. Haven't got young children (ours 18 & 22 ) so can't comment on kids clubs but they all looked happy, lots of little pools for young ones, nice to have deeper ones for not so young,we even used adult pool later in afternoon to wind down with a book. Waterpark good not biggest we've been to, beach was ok men went on kayaks went out a bit far and had trouble getting back on when they fell out ( their own faults ) but no one watching or supervising. Surprised at amount of kids taken out of school. We didn't go to amphitheater not our thing but we saw a live band at Pearl bar and beach night and 2 singers on other nights at beach bar so can't see how people complain about no outside acts coming in ( brilliant amount of work and effort on beach party night ) I always get bitten but came home with just 3 bites which I was amazed at, I took garlic capsules and used a spray repellant which must have helped. Have to say thank you to our favourite barman Bekirhan I'm sure he'll be head barman one day he was so friendly and always smiling. Would highly recommend this hotel without hesitation. More
Stayed at The Aqua Fantasy Hotel & Spa for one week as two couples . This was booked only two weeks before and was a little worried about staying after reading the reviews . Well we were pleasantly surprised ! Although I would not say its 5* its good value for money . The hotel is very clean and bright , the rooms are very comfortable , we stayed in the world side , loads of space everywhere . room around all of the pools and there are a number of them ! Little moan .... food although was quite good could have been hotter , the selection was as expected and you do get to use the a'la cart places for a change . The steak house is well worth paying the extra to visit . ( about £8 per person ) . Of the other a'la carts we used the Turkish not bad & it was lovely to sit down and be served a meal . People have complained about the choice of drink only being local , this is normal for AI & to be honest I drank 'local' malibu and bailey's which were very good . The red wine was also not bad . We didn't really use the entertainment a great deal but wednesday's beach party was very good , bonfire on the beach with a fire show followed by fireworks . We wondered whether the staff are told not to involve them selves with the guest's as so many don't seem to smile but we found if you take the time to acknowledge them they are more than happy to respond back . we chatted with Ali the bar manager who gave us some facts about the hotel and it would appear that most of the staff have been here since it opened. The Aqua park it self is quite good fun and you can pop in and out as you wish . No one should go thirsty or hungry whilst staying here and in our opinion lunch time was the best meal of the day , the beef kebab's were very tasty & the spit roast chicken with salad was excellant . Some people have said that they had tummy trouble's while staying here well I actually have a medical issue in this area and can honestly say hand on heart I had no problems what so ever .More
Just amazing cannot wait to return, home 1 week miss it already :-(
Myself and my boyfriend who are in our early 20's arrived here on the 20th of September from Ireland for two weeks it was late at night receptionists were extremely friendly, the next morning we were up early as excited to look around well first impression was "wow" and still by the end of our two weeks I didn't want to leave.Every staff we met or had encounters with went out of there way to help in any way with plenty of manners especially the staff at the snack bar near the water park always smiling and friendly but honestly I couldn't find fault in Any of yer staff down to the cleaners I feel they excelled in there roles throughout our two week stay :-) Jack sparrow,Simon,James,Armani, sausage these were part of the entertainment team And entertain they did every night I couldn't wait for the next show these really excelled in there roles you couldn't fault them in any way and I'm looking forward to seeing them next year already :-) all in all our stay in turkey has been the best yet I cannot wait to return to aqua fantasy and I can't understand any negative reviews it was worth every penny..the first choice reps on site is very helpful always found food I'd eat and I'm a terrible fussy eater the water park on site is amazing also and the beach offers so much for everyone so overall I feel Aqua fantasy is an excellent choice holiday destination and will see ye next year :-) :-)More
we stayed at this hotel in September 2014. the transfers were near on an hour, i don't know where some people were getting 30 minutes from... we got to talking with a couple who had been to the hotel before and were told to be aware there is nothing really in the area, but for kids it should be great for the aqua park. we arrived very late, and ducked into the late arrivals dinner for something to eat. it was very plain, and soup was the most major meal going. the hotel is clean and the staff are so very friendly. we have a 3 year old and he was well looked after. on the first night we ended up in the Irish sports bar, and our bar person was a lovely lady who kept us topped up at all times. my son was besotted by her and kept asking to go back to see his friend. meals of an evening were generally poor. undercooked meats (not all, just a few nights some bits were still pink inside) poor choice, chips... and chips... oh and fish, plenty of fish! just to clarify, i don't like fish, even the smell makes me gag, and the wafting of the fishy smells throughout the complex made for some rather dodgy evenings. the couple from the transfer told us that the food this year was terrible in comparison to the previous times they had been. (obviously i can only say what happened with us, but they seemed pretty sane and trustworthy) we ended up eating most of our lunches in the pearl bar, close to the main pool area. kebabs were being cooked most days and the noodles, pizza, spaghetti, and Gözleme, a personal favourite of mine were all there from 12ish onwards. rooms are kept extremely well clean and tidy and a free bottle of water is replenished each day. wherever you go in the hotel, you seem to find a cleaner, which is nice to see, but unfortunately there are still some parts of the hotel which seem to get left. we walked along the beach some nights and found it littered with rubbish from the days activities. although a member of staff did go round to pick everything up, but unfortunately because the rubbish had entered the water it was continually being washed up on the shore, which was a shame to see. the hotel was infested with bugs. i don't mean a few flying things, i mean millions of them! my partner was bitten to high hell and was up to around 30 major bites within a few days. nothing seemed to have worked, and she put everything on, spending a small fortune in the on site shops. there are also a million flies and what look like wasps but these things should come with a steroid warning! they are HUGE! to get bitten by one of these bad boys would be a nasty shocker! you seemed forever wafting your hands around to get the little blighter's away from your food, or the inside of your cups! would like to point out, when we were at the airport we got speaking to a couple from another hotel, and were told they had no insects whatsoever... our reps, first choice, were always around if you needed anything, which was nice. on the welcome meeting we were introduced to some guy who would be on beckon call for all our needs. everything in his eyes was "the best i have ever seen/eaten/been on/touched/licked... ok ok i am maybe exaggerating a little but you get the point... my partner had seen online a dolphin show in the area and was determined to go. the excursion was £48 for 2 adults and the child went free. the coach would pick us up and to be aware we may get charged 10tl to use OUR OWN CAMERA... but don't worry no one has had to pay this season... rubbish... we were on the coach for less than 5 minutes, was in the show for 45 minutes and were back in the hotel within 2 hours... i quickly marched into the reps office demanding my money back for the next excursion. after a quick look on-line i found tickets on the door were 15 euros each and the boy was free... anyone wanting to do this excursion, find out how much a taxi would cost, or simply walk up the hill, and pay on the door, you'll save a fortune!!! the other excursions are pretty rubbish, and unless you want to sit on a coach for half a day or spend the day walking around a market then stay in the hotel... it seemed everything ended or started with a market, and if that wasn't enough, if you bought 2 excursions then you get a free..... Market excursion.... but don't worry as its the best market the rep has ever had the pleasure of frequenting. the rep will tell you about a local restaurant, its great, honestly its the best restaurant he had ever been too! so good is it that the restaurant have laid on a shuttle bus which picks you up from reception takes you into town... to a market... then dinner and a return shuttle back. sounds quite nice doesn't it! if any of you are like me you will become infuriated by the guy walking round getting you to look at his menus! the restaurant does do everything, but the prices are astronomical! i had a quick look and while i was doing so he was already writing down how many people and a time, awaiting for my room number. he didn't get it, i told him nothing in there excited me and that what he was offering i could already get in the hotel restaurant for free! he didn't seem pleased and walked away muttering something, you can probably guess what! the guy does not give up and will pester you at least 3 times a day... i am not making this up, i had to put it on my feedback form for first choice, it became a joke, and to be polite i just put my hat over my face. so if you have actually read all of this, well done, and to finish: this is a clean hotel, in the middle of nowhere, with no excursions to really call home about, dirty sea (something like Brighton if you have ever had the pleasure) lovely staff (unless you get some in the restaurant who will stay glued to tipping Germans, and will miss you out completely for drinks) bland food rubbish variety every night, and an annoying Turkish man walking round with a menu in the hand doing his best local nutter impression.More
