The food at this contemporary hotel comes highly recommended – as do its 2 pools and beachside setting.
Set in vast landscaped gardens just 20 metres from the beach, the buildings of this hotel are inspired by local artist, Cesar Manrique. The décor is cool and contemporary, and there’s a huge atrium-style lobby.
The hotel has 2 pools and an outstanding buffet restaurant. If you want to venture out, the harbour town of Puerto del Carmen is a 3-minute drive down the road.

Very nice hotel, but very slow internet
This all-inclusive hotel was one of the better ones I've been to. Biggest plus was that this time I did not suffer from diarrhea, so the food quality is very high. Buffets are very tasty and lot's of good drinks at the different bars. Staff is very kind and is very proficient in English. Also the other guests are good mannered. Not like those Eastern-European or Russian thugs that you sometimes see in Turkish hotels. It makes your stay even more comfortable. The room was good, but I expected more from a Junior Suite. My suite did not have a fully separate living room, but bedroom and living room were one big room. My room was also on a higher level and the balcony is much smaller there than on ground level. The rooms are not sound-proof enough. You can hear people from other rooms and even the hall. Also when you're in bed around 10 P.M. you can hear the evening animation in your room, even when everything is closed. The WiFi-signal is good, but the internet speed is horrible. Also the internet connection is often lost, even though the WiFi signal is still there. Strangely, at the reception area there's no problem whatsoever. To play games in the game lounge, you had to pay extra. Usually 1 euro extra. Also the minibar was not included in the all-inclusive arrangement, even though I had the junior suite. It's annoying that the all-inclusive arrangement ends at 11 P.M. already. After that you have to pay for your drinks. It would be better if the piano bar was opened 24 hours a day. A good thing is that this hotel doesn't use annoying wrist bracelets but just a card that they can swipe at the bar to see if you're all-inclusive or not. If their internet connection is upgraded in the future, I'll go back there.More

Basics great but parental control of some clients somewhat lacking
The hotel is a large older-style property with lots of character (even includes a small museum). Overall, extremely clean and well-tended buildings and grounds. Bedrooms very comfortably furnished and roomy; we were on an upper floor which was very peaceful - would not want to be on a lower floor due to certain "noise" considerations. Food was excellent for a large-scale all-inclusive buffet - slight reservation that there was only the one restaurant but the many varied dining locations around the site gave quite a choice of seating position - both indoors and outdoors. At times, a bit of a "struggle" to find a suitably private position for couples. During the day, the choice of sitting areas around the grounds and pools was very good but the evenings were often a bit of a disaster due to inconsiderate parents allowing their children to run around unchecked; this happened in the theatre during the cabaret shows much to the annoyance of many guests; on several occasions, even the very pleasant piano bar's ambience was ruined by families playing "snap" or opening large numbers of birthday presents whilst the artists were performing. There is a large, comfortably-furnished reception/lounge area adjacent which would have been more aptly used for both of these activities (with a little amount of thought and consideration). Management seemed reluctant to interfere on these occasions - even though they were well aware of many guests complaining about this behaviour - for fear of negative comments on Trip Advisor. (We were advised to return later in the year when the hotel were expecting to have fewer families present; however, our trip occurred outside of school holidays and the children were mostly pre-school aged). Location of the hotel was excellent: opposite the beach and with a good choice of shops, bars and restaurants (reasonably-priced) immediately adjoining the hotel for those not on an all-inclusive package. Staff in all areas were very professional, helpful, approachable and friendly. Overall, an excellent hotel and would definitely return; as mentioned, the only draw-back was the behaviour of several small (uncontrolled) children who managed to spoil what could have been a perfect holiday for many guests (many of whom openly voiced this view).More
I have just, yet again, returned from this fantastic hotel. Every time I go back I think it will have changed and it always does. It just gets better and better. The only place I find myself totally relaxing. I cannot list all the good things as there are so many I can only list the things I think are not so good - oh there are none. This is a brilliant hotel and I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking of visiting Lanzarote.More
Always a pleasure
Returned to this hotel yet again and I still cannot say enough good things about Seaside Los Jameos Playa. From the minute you arrive at the hotel until the minute you leave it is pure relaxation and enjoyment. The rooms, the pools, the snack bar, pool bar area, gardens, fish pond, entertainment, are all top notch. The food is still excellent with a choice or every taste. But most of all the staff are extremely professional, friendly and will do whatever they need to to make sure you enjoy your stay. Still would highly recommend this hotel - it's excellent. If I had to pick one insignificant weak spot - and really it's not really worth mentioning, but to be fair it was the one thing I was amused about, as everything else is the best it can be.......the toasters in the morning...soooo slow browning your toast. That's it - that's the only thing I can fault. Oh and one other observation. When you are in such a beautiful setting in such a beautiful hotel, with everything on hand and your every need taken care of..don't get all upset and ignorent because you might have to wait a couple of minutes to get served your drink at the pool bar..... you're not going to die of thirst in the space of two minutes...remember your're on holidays. Stop demanding everything now...grown adults acting like small children -- amusing to watch but not fair on the excellent staff. I will definitely be back again and soon!More
We had an amazing holiday. The hotel was lovely, clean and staff were so helpful and professional. Service really good. Bed linen crisp and clean. Close to restaurants that we're immediately outside and so many great restaurants in Puerto del Carmen. We walked the beach, swam in the sea and loved having that big long stretch of beach close by. If we returned when it was warmer would definitely hang out by the pool. They are well thought out, feel private enough not just a big rectangle. The maintenance of the grounds was amazing. We only ate breakfast here .... no issues at all. So highly recommend it.More
