We have just returned from a lovely week at Alvor Baia. The hotel is stunning, modern, clean and spacious. All the staff we came across were great. The entertainment team worked hard and were great. The food is just normal all inclusive, there are a lot of nice restaurants a little walk away. The only down side to the hotel is the pool is freezing. All in all we had a fantastic week and would highly recommend Alvor Baia. More
Just back from a week at the Alvor Baia, rooms were large, comfortable and very clean. Large pool area with lots of sunbeds and a nice shaded area for when it was to hot. Food was fantastic did not have one bad meal the only down side was the blue restaurant as was small very busy and always had to queue for your food, green restaurant was larger and no queues. The entertainment staff were great and the shows they put on in the evenings were fantastic. Fresh towels every day and the the cleaning ladies were very friendly, over all a great week and would go back but next time stay for more then 7 days.More
The hotel is very nice. Very large pool with plenty of sun beds. Don't know what it would be like in the summer months. although it was so cold it was like getting into an ice bucket. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was o.k. but never hot. They do supply a microwave.Salad bar was very nice and always had some meat or fish to go with it. Sweet bar was also very good. The adults only restaurant let the kids in so it wasn't adult only. The free bus to the beach was good. We have just spent two weeks here. We would come back again but maybe only for a week. Entertainment was good. They worked very hard.Balcony's are very large as is the room.More
September at Alvor Baia
Stayed at Alvor baia 17-28 September, room 417,had a wonderful time in a fab hotel, rooms are large and airy ,staff at the hotel are very helpful, and a special mention to Fred on reception, always keen to help.and in my humble opinion,a valuable asset to this hotel. Food was varied and very tasty, one of our group was a vegan and had no trouble satisfying his appetite. Grounds are clean,as is the pool area, housekeeping was also of a good standard. Fantastic weather, went on a boat trip taking in the sights of a fantastic coastline with stunning caves and idyllic coves. Alvor town center is just a 15 minute walk and its variety of shops, cafe bars, and restaurants along with cobbled streets is just fab. Alvor certainly ticks all the boxes,as does the Alvor baia, can not find anything negative about the hotel and cant wait to returnMore
