I travel quite a lot and stay at many different hotels across different countries. The criteria that matter most to me are: how quiet the room is, cleanliness, mattress comfort, shower pressure, and how helpful the staff are. Avani Hotel scored top marks on all of these. Stayed six nights, had a great experience. Staff accommod. ating and quick to handle our requests. Beds are a little on the firm side but still very comfortable. Great pillows. Provided toiletries we're good. Nice touch to be able to make espresso in the room with the Lor espresso machine and coffee pods provided. Convenient to many restaurants just across the canal. we stayed here with our young kids and the views of the canal through floor to ceiling windows was breathtaking. loved the coffee, the breakfast, the vibes. the lobby has great board games & little spots to sit and relax. we stayed for a combination of business trip & leisure with family toward the end of the week; highly recommend. location is also prime without being too busy- within a 7min walk to all the museums....

We were delighted to stay once again at this modern hotel which is conveniently situated for Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Concertgebouw.
It is within easy access to the city centre.
It is clean and brightly decorated and has comfortable rooms.
They serve an excellent buffet breakfast with option for both hot and cold dishes....
