On M52 from Amsterdam Central, alight at De Pijp and a short walk towards the Museumplein, the hotel is nestled in a less busy part of this crazy wonderful city. I was checked in bedore 12pm, and my room is a corner one with big windows all around and with a big confortble bed. The room has a sofa, a lounger, big flat TV and a small coffee making corner. I was pleasantly surprised at how perfect everything was during my stay, from the welcoming reception, the environment, the room, the bedding, the amenities, the location ( the neighborhood is just beautiful) and beyond. I will definitely return again to this hotel. I often stay at 5 stars hotels but as I needed to be near all the museums, I reserved Avani and I am super happy to have discovered this gem....

The location of Avani was the first factor in our decision to stay. It is a brief walk to major museums and Vondelpark and a short metro ride to Dam square and other attractions. It is located on a canal and in an area that it less congested and boisterous.
We booked a Superior Room that had floor to ceiling panoramic views of the canal and the city skyline. We arrived at 9:30 AM after completing a river cruise. ...

We have previously lodged at the Avani Museum Quarter Amsterdam Hotel on two other occasions and we have never been disappointed or displeased with our overall lodging experience.

Nice rooms, Peaceful Location, Near Musuems but no Public Transpo nearby

If your trip to Amsterdam involves Musuems. This provides a great location. Modern building with an elevator, airconditioning and big rooms. The rooms do not have much lights but just open the windows which provide good natural light.
It is not near to the busier district in the canals area but it depends on what you are prioritizing in the trip. Public transpo is not near and no parking if you are renting a car.
