My partner and I come to this hotel every year however will probably not stay here again. Firstly, they are a more expensive option and we struggled to see why this time. Some of the staff on Reception did not seem to know what was going on a lot of the time, we had issues with underfloor heating not working (was promised a resolve and never got one), balcony door not being unlocked (can see this is Health and Safety...

On first glance the hotel seemed warm and inviting. It was clean and as expected. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The toilet had a glass door with a gap like a public toilet stall which was strange and made you feel uncomfortable going to the toilet. Beautiful art deco hotel, great location, close to the centre. Good food in a fantastic art deco dinning room, wonderful staff and a huge bedroom, with separate his/her sinks and a walk in shower room. We had a balcony overlooking the canal. A real gem ...

We really enjoyed our stay! Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. Room comfortable and had all the facilities- not sure about the bathroom door which leaves little to the imagination!
Great staff- lovely guy on check in from Transylvania and excellent concierge
Would highly recommend...
