Disappointing Stay Due to Bedbugs

I stayed at this hotel from November 9th to 16th, and unfortunately, my experience was ruined by bedbugs. On the third night, I woke up with several bites and discovered the bugs in my room. I was moved to a different room, but I had to deal with them spreading to my clothes, which was a huge hassle.

Irresponsible hotel knew the room has bed bug issue still let me stay and causing me huge loss

I got severe bed bug bites from this hotel room. They let me stay in a room that having bed bug problem, over two nights I got 50+ bites from bed bug and I got severe allergic reaction. They knew that room has this issue because when I entered the room, there was strong bug repellent smell and I saw several bugs on the bed. At that time I didnt know that was bed bug. My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights.
Overall the hotel is ideal for a short break. It is located in the museum area of Amsterdam and you can either walk into the centre or jump on a tram which run frequently.
We booked a superior double room which was ideal. The room did not have air conditioning but a fan was supplied. We couldn't leave our window open at night due to street noise.

Brilliant little hotel right in the centre, walking distance to most things. Reception helpful with booking taxis and explaining trams. Breakfast was pretty good. Our room was spacious and had a household fan which was great it's what we use at home. Would recommend ...
