Nice hotel made all the better by a great location close to the Icebar and canal trips
Not the fault of the hotel but the city tax can be high if youre booking a high end room 12.5 % per person per night apparently the highest in Europe £59 for two nights...

Hotel was lovely. Went had a free upgrade which was amazing. The room was very clean, lovely decor. Only downside - we booked a double room, however, it was a double bed frame with two single mattresses pushed together. This made it quite uncomfortable for sleeping as the mattresses kept moving apart and leaving a gap in the middle. It is a good hotel. Very good location. Clean rooms. A very good nourishing breakfast. The service is a little bit weird though. We arrived and were told that our room is not ready though he had requested an early check-in. When we insisted they reluctantly went to find the reservation and did find that our room is ready. The same thing happened the next day, but unfortunately he was too tired and in a hurry to insis...

The hotel was nice. The room was a little small but perfectly adequate for our needs and to be expected in Europe. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very nice with a lot of choice. The hotel was well positioned and not far from the railway station...

Visited for my husbands 60th.
Positives
Fantastic location.
Smart reception and helpful staff when checking in.
They kindly upgraded the 2 of the 3 rooms we had booked from Economy Double to Deluxe. We arrived at 12 noon and they checked us into one of the rooms that was ready.
Rooms were large and nicely decorated.
Negatives
The shower head was broken in our room so it was hard to take a shower without getting soa...
