Great hotel, easy access into the centre, wonderful staff!

I booked this hotel for my daughter who went to Amsterdam for her 21st. The staff were amazing - so helpful, responsive and accommodating - nothing was too much trouble! The room they were allocated was roomy, comfortable and had fantastic views.
Thank you to the staff at the Leonardo Royal for helping to make my daughter's stay so enjoyable...

Worst hotel - not a 4 star standard from any angle. Dont book a stay here for a triple bedroom. The third bed will be a sofa bed made by a person who probably has the will to live. Small drinking water bottles cost 5! The so called room service facility to order food does not exist contrary to what the over enthusiastic receptionist will tell you. Well where do I start.
Hotel was a 1 minute walk from Overamstel metro. Walking into the hotel we were greeted by SYLVIA. What a warm welcome.
Hotel is lovely and clean
Rooms. Adequate for our needs
Breakfast. 20 if pre booked. Something to eat for everyone. Set us up for the day.

I had a really good stay here with work.
The check in was busy when I arrived but I was quickly to the front of the queue and got my room reservation sorted. I was on the 15th floor. The views towards the centre were really good. A mix of old, industrial and new.

A group of 12 stayed at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Amsterdam when doing the half marathon. The hotel is fabulous. The metro OVERAMSTEL stop is directly across the road.
