A convenient location for river cruise passengers. Check in was very friendly (albeit very busy). The room was average, nothing exceptional. The hairdryer weighted about 10 pounds and was very awkward to use. The room was quiet, nice view and all hotel staff were knowledgeable. Refused to check us in because of their computer error!!!

I made reservations on all.com for 3 rooms. As usual with Accor, the last reservation I made overwrites the names on the other 2 rooms and therefore the receptionist refused to check me in, even through I had my email confirmation with the correct name on. When I asked to speak to a Manager, I was told she was on a break and no one else was available. Such a terrible experience and the receptionist made me feel like ...

There are a lot of good things to mention about this Mövenpick. Location is very convenient, the staff very professional and kind, that guy running the bar is legend! Modern clean and good location. We had a room on the 20th floor and the view over the canal watching the boats was very good. Special mention to Robert on the reception who was very helpful in pointing out places to go. The breakfast was excellent and our room was comfortable. We stayed for a long weekend and will put Movenpick at the top of our list for our next stay in Amsterdam....

Short but Sweet Stay

We stayed here for one night as the hotel we had originally told us there was a technical fault with our room so they booked us in here instead.
It was about 15 mins walk from Centraal Station.
We had a suite which was gorgeous! Huge bathroom with a heated floor, big lounge area with a tv and a super comfy bed in a separate with another tv.
