The hotel is a 10 to 15-minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal station. Take the exit near the ferry and walk along the waters. It is central but away from all the noise. 4 star hotels and up are expensive in Amsterdam, so I'd say the price is on par with the market rate. We were excited for our trip to Amsterdam, but staying at Room Mate Aitana ended up being a disappointing choice, especially at ~375 a night.
Location: It is a 15-minute walk to Centraal Station. That sounds convenient, but it actually means you either walk back to Centraal or take an infrequent bus there every time you need public transit, or you face a 20 to 30-minute walk to most of the main sights. The nearby r...

Amazing stay and truly exceptional atmosphere! This was once again a wonderful stay in Amsterdam, and Room Mate Aitana exceeded our expectations. Our room on the 9th floor with a beautiful city view was fantastic, and my boys were always happy to come back to the hotel.

Beautiful hotel, modern, clean, great location. Five minute walk from train station and ferry terminals, only around a 10-15minute walk to shops/bars/cafes/tourist spots. View from room 302 was lovely, looks right over the water. Room was extremely spacious, double bed at one side, single at the other, with the bathroom, wardrobes and coffee/fridge in-between. Excellent experience on check-in, with helpful and friendly staff. Location is excellent, especially if youre looking for somewhere easy to navigate to, close to the station but a little less busy. Room was very spacious and had lots of amenities. Very happy and would stay again....
