This was our second time staying at this hotel -we came last year too - and we really do like it here. The staff are lovely and the lobby is really nice. Theyve also got a vending machine which is super handy for snacks and drinks.
We upgraded this time and stayed in Room 33. The room was bigger and had a massive bath, which we loved.
The only downside, both times weve stayed, is the bed. Its two singles pushed ...

Really lovely hotel, stayed here for 2 nights with my partner and couldnt fault it. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Close to the centre of Amsterdam - only took us 5 minutes on the Metro. The only downside was the breakfast, slightly pricey for what it is. £17pp, quite a poor selection and the cooked food wasnt too great. The staff were friendly and super accommodating! Hotel looked great from the outside and the lobby and bar area were okay too.
BUT the number of issues we had with/in the room was the reason we gave the rating of 2 out of 5.
And before anyone asks why we didnt bother to tell reception, I dont think they would have believed how bad our stay was

Great hotel! Located just outside the busy city with amazing transport links, staff really friendly, hotel and room warm and clean. We opted for the breakfast on arrival, plenty of choice hot and cold. On arrival the safe had a battery missing but a quick call to reception it was sorted. One train station from Amsterdam. Five min. Train station five min walk.
We liked being away from all the noise and crowds of Amsterdam.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Nice lounge area downstairs.
Our room, 410, was quiet and spacious.
However, the walls were so dirty, especially the one right by the bed, which was very off putting.
Its strange, because everything else was clean.
Comfy bed.
Quiet.
