Location was great and rooftop restaurant/bar is amazing. Pool was closed. Fitness room is tiny and elevators are automated and incredibly frustrating. Beds were very comfortable but temperature control was only done by opening windows. For a hotel like this it shouldn't have a Fairfield inn type fitness room and we should be able to control our own room temperature...

Just back from a fantastic stay at Grand Wyndham Athens
Super central location only a couple of minutes from the metro (so easy to get around!)
️ Spacious, spotless rooms with incredibly comfy beds

We stayed at Wyndham Athens on February 25th for one night with my wife and daughter. Niki and Vivian at the reception gave us a wonderful welcome. Even though we arrived early, they prepared a beautiful room for us. The hotel has a great locationeasy to reach from the airport by metro and within walking distance to the city center. Just had 5 nights at the Wyndham Grand, the hotel is spotless, rooms cleaned everyday and very polite staff.
The only downside about the hotel was the lack of any entertainment but in February its out of season I suppose.
Metaxagiou is not the most pleasant area but it is within walking distance of all the main sights and ideal for access to the metro which is clean , cheap and easy to use.
