Our flight home to the US was canceled after our cruise so we stayed a night in Barcelona. We were grateful to be in a safe place not in the heart of the city, but within walking distance to some of the citys famous attractions. Hotel very clean and well run. Breakfast very pleasant and staff extremely friendly. However we are a couple over the age of 70 and for 2 nights during our stay, rooms were allocated next to us, by much younger couples. I had to go to the rooms at 4am one couple then 6am for the other, on different nights, to ask them to quieten down. myself as well as ~30 other students stayed here as a part of a summer excursion program. the hotel was in a decent location for the price, and very accessible by metro (once you familiarize yourself with the routes) . staff was friendly and rooms were mostly clean, but the mattresses we were given were thin and it was hard to sleep well. the bathroom was also quite small, and dirty when we first checked in. the elev...

We stayed for 4 nights over the Easter weekend.
The checkin was smooth and quick but it was at 10pm at night.
The location is very good, the showers were very powerful and the room was spacious but that was about it for the positives.
Oh the view from the top is also good, but that is down to location.
We stayed in room 204 and there are clearly 2 main issues with this room.

I was so disappointed in the hotel location (so far from convention hall) that it took me a few days to find what was great, good, and not so wonderful about this hotel.
The room reeked of cigarette smoke. But it was comfortable otherwise.
I would not stay here again, but in the end, I learned to tolerate the room itself.
The breakfast was ok. Not great, but got me through the morning and the women who were work...
