Horrible location! I made an online reservation, paid all the fees including the local tax, but upon arrival, I was charged an additional 40 euros for the local tax. They forced me to pay almost 100 euros in local taxes for 3 nights! Poor service, a meager breakfast, people were smoking in the adjacent room, and all the smoke could be felt in our room. I arrived about 2 hours before check-in and was kindly granted access to my room. I am very careful, always try not to stay near the bed in the clothes I wore outside and leave my clothes in the bathroom. On the first night, I was so tired that I didnt notice anything, but I woke up with bites on my leg. On the second night, I felt as if something was crawling on me. When I found the Acta City 47, Iooked on Google Maps to see the area around the hotel. I was struck by the small park that the hotel and restaurant faces. When we stayed at the hotel, I was thoroughly impressed by the personnel. Friendly, smiling faces and so willing to help with directions and restaurant suggestions. Very clean and classy hotel the reception are very welcome and the receptionist who helped me speaks English French Spanish! The only thing that missing is a pool. I will definitely book again this hotel if I come back to Barcelona and its close from the big train station 5 to 10 min walk max....

Very friendly and professional staff. Very clean. I felt so good that I wanted to extend my stay. when I return to Barcelona, Akta City47 will definitely be the first choice for accommodation.
I recommend the restaurant and the bar; very good....
