Excellent small hotel in a great area for letting cap sights. Walking distance from metro and airport bus. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was good for 12 euros...

Small hotel located around 10 minute walk from the Las Ramblas
Room was good but definitely worth paying a bit more for a room with a balcony as the rooms are quite small , good hot powerful shower.
Rooms at the back are very noisy at night so take earplugs if your a light sleeper , no kettle in room but are available on request at reception

I recently stayed at Acta BCN 40 in Barcelona and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The location is absolutely perfect - youre within easy reach of all the major attractions and sites Barcelona has to offer, which made exploring the city a breeze.

What an excellent hotel this is. Great check in staff and lovely clean rooms. 6 of us staying in 3 rooms for our friend's birthday. Only a short stroll from Las Ramblas, with loads of bars and shops all around. Neighbourhood felt very safe. Lots of tips and help from reception staff.
We didn't even scratch the surface of Barcelona, so would definitely stay here again....

Decent choice close to Placa de Catalunya

Stayed here for three nights in June 2025.
Pros:
1) The location is good. It is a short walk to the Placa de Catalunya. The closest metro station is a good 15 minute walk away. There are several eating and shopping options nearby.
2) The front desk is manned 24 hours. The staff was helpful and courteous.
3) The rooms, bathrooms and lobby were all clean.
