Hotel Balmes is centrally located so easy to walk everywhere, including to the FamÃlia Sagrada. A welcoming hotel with nicely appointed and equipped rooms with a comfortable bed. Rooms are very clean and quiet with excellent service as needed. We had a deluxe with the private spa but did not use it given the cool temps. But it was nice to have the extra room to sit out and enjoy the evening. Very good price point th...

have just returned from visiting my daughter in Barcelona. I was looking for a hotel close to where she lives and found one opposite the lovely Hotel Balmes. I have stayed many times in different hotels
in Barcelona. Quite a few have been The Derby chain. They have all been good. But Hotel Balmes exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent and you can walk around all the main areas with great ease. The hotel ...

Location was perfect. Very close to city centre. Accommodation was fabulous: staff very friendly and helpful. Value for money and very clean and tidy. Highly recommended....

Great location for doing Gaudi visits and easy walking to many places. Hotel is in very good condition. We had a deluxe room which was quiet at the back with terrace. Breakfast very acceptable with good buffet and hot dishes to order. We would definitely stay there again....
