Awful check-in and payment process. A nightmare.

A way too much expensive hotel. Not coming back for sure. The staff was helpfull and even helped me with difficulties on the reservation. But there is too much burocracy on the check-in. We had to pay days before the check-in, to get a refund on the moment of the check-in and then pay again on the check-in. What kind of policy is this? Absolutely terrible....

Rundown rooms and disappearing valuables

The pictures on the website were not representative of the rooms we stayed in at this hotel. Our rooms were a bit rundown and the bathroom for the 3 person room was tiny and difficult to maneuver even for one person. The 2 person bathroom was larger, which is counterintuitive. The key cards stopped working randomly. We had 3 cards for each room, and they would all stop working randomly, locking us out of the room...

Spacious deluxe triple room with quite few amenities available. Everythimg OK at the hotel but desatisfied with the room cleaning services. Found 2 cockroaches in the room, I notified the reception, they said they will report to the cleaning service....nothing improved. Twice the room cleaning service did not leave set bath towels for the 3rd person in the room. The reception denied responsibility but after insisting...

From the first initial contact to check out the staff was amazing. Superfriendly, professional, helpful and accommodating. Room was spotless, bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast buffet fresh products and high quality. We also had lunch at the hotel and the food and service again very good. All staff members were cheerful and could not do enough for you. Room Small and Name Misleading

Despite the name, this hotel is actually in El Clot, which is a good 20 minute walk away from Sagrada Familia.
The room itself was really small, with not much room to move at all.
El Clot is good location, with bus, metro and train links across Barcelona, making it a brilliant base. There is a 24/7 bus too, meaning you dont need to rely on taxis after your night out.
