Hotel was oversold and dishonest

This is our family's first trip to Spain. The hotel was oversold and we were given a double room for the family room we booked (for 4 people). Three beds were squeezed together. Hardly any standing room left. But they wouldn't admit it and said that "there is nothing we can do about it". After my protest, they agreed to change our room the next day and refunded a tiny portion for extra persons for 1st night. Very dis...

Attentive, friendly staff.

Nicely decorated but dated hotel. Still uses metal keys and a bit inconvenient for handicap guests.
Excellent hotel staff service and 24 hour buffet.

A Magical Stay in the Heart of Barcelona

Stayed at this charming boutique hotel (Whitney) and absolutely loved it. The location is unbeatable right on La Rambla with easy access to the metro and all the major sights. The views from the room were incredible, and the atmosphere felt both stylish and welcoming. Hotel is a geat location and hotel with balcony was bigger than expected. We really liked watching everyone. People seemed to be out all night, but once you close the door you can't hear the noise. Breakfast buffet was good to start the day. All day buffet ok, but the coffee, tea, wine, beer and frozen yogurt were all very good. There is construction and difficult to get taxi. The staff at hotel is helpful....
