Overpriced old place in center of the city

The hotel has very good location, if you do not mind crowd and noise. Other than that, it is overpriced and old. The whole place if filled with this "old everything" smell. Our room was clean but no windows, tight and we felt like we are sleeping in a box. The all-day buffet sounds good but it is not. The food is cold and of poor taste. Hotel was oversold and dishonest

This is our family's first trip to Spain. The hotel was oversold and we were given a double room for the family room we booked (for 4 people). Three beds were squeezed together. Hardly any standing room left. But they wouldn't admit it and said that "there is nothing we can do about it". After my protest, they agreed to change our room the next day and refunded a tiny portion for extra persons for 1st night. Very dis...

Nicely decorated but dated hotel. Still uses metal keys and a bit inconvenient for handicap guests.
Excellent hotel staff service and 24 hour buffet.

A Magical Stay in the Heart of Barcelona

Stayed at this charming boutique hotel (Whitney) and absolutely loved it. The location is unbeatable right on La Rambla with easy access to the metro and all the major sights. The views from the room were incredible, and the atmosphere felt both stylish and welcoming.
