We had a great stay at this beautiful hotel in Barcelona.
Pros
The staff were friendly and took good care of us. They have a 24 hour free buffet which is very convenient if you have little kids. They even have a nice collection of alcohol which is complementary. The location is safe, central to everything and extremely lively.

This is a splendid little hotel perfectly located for travel to any of the sites of Barcelona. We were warmly and efficiently welcomed and shown to our rooms. The hotel has an air of palatial splendour with lots of gold and chandeliers. There is a 24hr snack and drink area. This includes wine and beer. The hotel is right on the Rambals and only 5 mins from Placa de Catalunya. The only down side of our stay is the roo...

We stayed in one of the suites and the room was very clean and amazing, the view of la rambla and the hotel location was perfect. The whole hotel was very clean and they had a free buffet available 24/7 which included drinks and alcoholic. Definitely worth booking if you're planning a trip to Barcelona....

The hotel has a palace feel that can come across as gaudy! There is not an elevator to the main level; however, if you're lucky, you'll come across a bellhop who will carry your luggage up the stairs for you. The key comes on a large stick. We spent 4 days at the Palacette before a cruise & our stay was lovely. We stayed in room 122 & in spite of a previous post about this room we had no issues at all. Not once did we hear the bathroom flushing or toilet seat banging. We slept very well & it was very peaceful. The rain shower had very good pressure.
