Fantastic hotel great location for airport and cruise terminal, and nice leisurely walk into town centre, staff really helpful and friendly. The room was amazing very clean and the the bed was one of the most comfiest beds we have slept in, I would definitely recommend this hotel...

Promised to fix payment issue, then cancelled 10 days before arrival

When my card was declined due to an international transaction restriction, I asked the hotel to resend the payment link through Booking.com's messaging system. They confirmed they would and then sent completely different messages instead, never following through. Shortly after, they cancelled the booking unilaterally, 10 days before arrival. Lovely staff, big comfortable bed and room, good location. Walkable to everything but also quiet.
Sadly, the hotel didn't reach our expectations of a 4 star. Reception and bar are beautiful, but when you get out of the lift on the hotel floor its like a different hotel. Rooms tired and grubby, although bedding and towels clean. Carpets & curtains definitely in need of an upgrade. Photos attached...

What a lovely hotel. Not far from the centre / Gothic quarter a 20 to 30 minute leisurely stroll to so may places. Staff welcoming, rooms very clean and the food was excellent...
