The lobby of the hotel was very nice. On checking in we were offered cava or water and a table was set up with complimentary fruit and pastries. The location of the hotel was between the gothic quarter and the Born.

The location for us was perfect. It's near the metro, in the Gothic, within walking distance of sights and restaurants, food market, shops, and just about anything you want. It has a rooftop bar and lounge area, which is enjoyable for relaxing. The front desk is always helpful for taxis, or other needs. We had a great experience. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The Front desk staff was efficient and helpful at both check-in / checkout, eating recommendations, and booking taxi appointments for us. We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel and return to at the airport. There are plenty of coffee bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Breakfast service was excellent. I stayed at this hotel from Tuesday October 7th to Wednesday October 8th for a business trip. The room was beautiful and very comfortable but unfortunately the air conditioning was not working. The reception provided a portable AC unit which was kind but it was extremely noisy and made it difficult to get a good nights sleep.
