We stayed here for 8 nights in February. Our stay was excellent. The rooms were super clean with comfortable beds, Nice linens, bath products, high pressure shower and decent sized bathroom. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. Horrible with oppressive temperatures

NO airconditioning. I booked a room with airconditioning but the place is warm. The room has no outside windows just onto the inside of the building. They say they don't turn it on until March or April. It's about 26 or 27C in the room. I have checked and there is no law against having aircond in Spain in a private hotel room...

We recently stayed 4 nights at this conveniently located hotel. While our room and bathroom were a little small, especially as we have a lot of luggage, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The welcome drinks and sweets in the lobby were a nice touch. We were able to walk to most of the sights we wanted to see or caught the Metro. Excellent Hotel For The Price Which Was Not Expensive. No Complaints Really. Service Was Excellent. We Would Stay Here Again No Problem If We Returned To Barcelona. Location Was Prefect For Seeing The City. Breakfast Was Great In The Hotel....

Excellent hotel. In the center of the city, clean, quiet, safe. But the most important was how polite the staff was. I especially want to thank Anton and Nico, who did their best to serve us. I would choose Balmoral again, for sure! It made our trip better....
