Thin walls, poor service

The location is good, very central to visit everything and metro station 5 mins away. The room was clean. Area a bit sketchy.. bit like Soho in London, a lot of drug addicts and drunks, I felt safe though as busy area. I found the reception staff not very welcoming, reminded me a bit of the goblins at Gringotts Bank in Harry Potter, civil and polite but not warm or welcoming. The hotel is Ok. The breakfast is Ok. The location is Ok. The price is the strong side of Ok. The staff are horrible. Just miserable, contemptuous, inhospitable and utterly devoid of interest.
If hostility is how hospitality now works, these lot have it down.
Go somewhere else, they probably deserve your money more....

Stayed in march for 4 night great location we had a small balcony room wasnt very big but had a good amount of storage. Bathroom was nice with a powerful shower. The hotel is well kept and the staff are very nice especially the lady with grey hair at reception sorry dont know her name. Would stay again....

Went for my wife's 60 th birthday mentioned if at desk when I booked in thinking they might do something as everyone I know does and gets a bottle of something or some chocolates but nothing,The staff are very friendly and helpful,Breakfast was OK....

Perfectly pleasant stay

After reading some poor reviews, I was a little tentative about coming here but my husband booked before I could comment. Anyway I neednt have worried. The hotel is perfectly located, spotlessly clean with really comfortable modern rooms. The reception staff are quiet but check-in was smooth and they were perfectly pleasant. This hotel is just 20 min taxi journey from the airport (£22) and 2 min away from La Rambla....
