Simply the perfect hotel. I stayed for three nights on a solo trip to Barcelona and Acta Laumon is in the nicest, calmest neighborhood, chock full of character and culture, and moments distance from all the bustling highlights the city offers. Just about everything was great here. Quiet is really important to me, and the hotel is in a more residential area so yes, quiet, in a side street. All the staff were lovely and there is 24 hour reception, another thing I prefer. The room was big, the bed big and comfortable, plenty of space to put all your stuff and a safe.
