stayed for 3 nights in a superior room ( which we paid extra ) the room smelt of damp had a horrible view and overall not in great shape. we did complain however nothing was done ! interestingly my son came over as a surprise and paid for a cheaper room and that was actually better than ours. Area around the hotel was quite eerie especially on an evening. breakfast were busy and was ok but didnt feel it was worth...

Wonderful stay

Stayed 4 nights with a friend to celebrate birthday and explore this amazing place.
Due to my error not informing hotel of bed requirements we were given room with double bed but we wanted twin, our room was changed with no fuss and gentleman at reception most accommodating, even showed me room first to make sure ok.
Was greeted in room with lovely display of balloons and printed birthday message.

The hotel is in a very good location, just a few minutes walk to Las Ramblas and a metro station. It is also convenient for a quick Uber to the cruise terminal. The hotel is in an old building with character and the rooms are well maintained and modern. Our room had a rubbish view, but that didnt bother us since most hotel rooms dont have much to look at. I recommend this hotel!

The hotel surprised me, the price is good, the location is excellent, there is a subway nearby, many shops and restaurants just a few minutes walk away. The structure of the hotel is also good, the room we stayed in was very comfortable for two people and super quiet, the cleaning very good and the staff attentive.
I highly recommend it!...

Very small closet size room

Worst hotel we ever stayed at. We arrived and couldn't get a room for hours while others arrived and we're given a room. Our room was the size of a closet. 2 people and 2 suit cases barely fit. If you had to use the bathroom the other person had to get into bed to make room. We almost went some place else. Ruined our impression of barcelona...
