The toilet in my room was broken, and water kept leaking from the cistern, making a constant, very annoying noise. Even with the bathroom door closed, the noise could be heard in bed, making it impossible to sleep. The first night, I arrived late and very tired, so I didn't say anything. I really enjoyed staying here. The location was perfect (near a bunch of lines to all the areas of the city, and within walking distance of two of GaudÃ's pieces). The hotel was quite comfortable. I had a room on the front along the street, and though there was street noise on the weekend, the blackout curtains did a decent job of blocking the noise. I cannot understand the negative reviews of this hotel. We have just returned having spent a very enjoyable 5 night stay at the Onix Rambla. We received a very friendly welcome at reception from the lovely Ximena, explaining all the hotel facilities, and she also gave us very helpful information about the area. I arrived at the hotel early morning on Wed. May 22nd 2024, to find out that I made a mistake on my booking date and the hotel was fully booked.
Ms. Ximena the receptionist was so helpful to let me find another hotel and gave access to the internet.
Her support was also extended to guide me to find a Taxi, and information about the public transportation system in Barcelona.

So bad. I spend 2000 and got a treble service. Never again. Not even for free. The hotel staff are racists. Don't go there.
1. Bad breakfast in the basement. (11£)
2. Very very unpleasant staff.
3. The rooms have broken stuff im it, like the shower and the window. Not clean and no one come to clean.
4. It is center, but many drunk homeless ppl just infront of the hotel, its a side street from the main (much nicer...
