Very negative experience. The hotel rooms are old and not all well maintained, the hotel clearly needs to be restructure.In my room the washbasin was broken and the lights of the room not working and nobody came to fix even we solicited support.The receptionist Natalia very unpleasant, not present at the desk for the check in (at 6 pm nobody was at the reception we had to wait for her 15 minutes as nobody was there!!...

Ok as a base for a short trip to Barcelona

Booked through an EasyJet package. Its an ex art gallery and museum so quite quirky.
Good things:
Excellent location near metro stations
Big room with nice sky scape view
Very clean
Good beds
Lovely bathroom
Nice staff
Good breakfast and not crowded
Could do better:
Room only seemed to be serviced when asked for it. Dove late afternoon which is late when returning to relax

More a 3 star hotel TBH. Location is good but staff is not very helpful, the corridors can be noisy at night (teenagers?), the safe didn't work and the public restrooms were so dirty one day that even my daughter wouldn't use them (and her standards are of public primary schools...)....

I got the WORST service I have ever had in this hotel from someone in the reception named Maria. She laughed at me when I asked for two pillows (nothing exceptional from such a hotel!! ). Not only she didn't make ANY effort, she laughed at my face. This is Extremely rude person and service!!! Very basic hotel. Wouldn't recommend and really not value for money...

Its a boutique hotel and not a palace or museum as in its name

- in the heart of city where certain interesting buildings, streets with shops selling branded goods and the coast are within walking distance.
- within metro and bus stand for those who wish to travel by public transport to visit sites that are further away
