Beautiful hotel, very clean rooms. Great location - close to Old Town and all attractions. Convenient transportation from and to airport, close to city mass transportation (bus, metro). Friendly and helpful stuff, nice morning buffet....

We stayed at Room Mate Gerard for two nights in June and were left feeling a bit underwhelmed. While the hotel has style and potential, several service issues meant we wouldnt return.
TLDR:
Rooms are spacious and comfy enough, but poor service, no apology for delays, and a faulty shower that flooded the bathroom soured the stay. Feels more like a 3-star experience dressed up as a 4-star hotel.

Great Hotel, great location and very quite . We arrived late at night and our Room was very clean and had everything required. Breakfast was excellent . All the staff we met during our 4 night stay were so nice and helpful. Hopefully we can get back some day....

We stayed at Room mate Gerrard in Barcelona from 20th march til 23rd march as it was a Christmas gift from our son it wasn't too far from Placa di catalunya so we walked to & from each day! Very nice rooms with small daily attentions, from music playlist to chocolates. Nice room with very comfortable bed and calm surroundings at night despite being close to BCN center. Great choice at breakfast buffet on top : a safe and good choice!...
