This is a delayed review. We stayed 3 nights at The Room Mate Collection Gerard . We picked this hotel since we noted that the location supposed to be perfect and indeed it was. You just need to walk around and discover this beautiful city. We were well received by the night shift staff, George, with a swift check in. The staff in general were amazing. We love the Room Mate hotels and the Gerard didnt disappoint. The staff were all so friendly, the property had a roof top terrace that we used twice to unwind at the end of the day. Big points for the honesty bar including Free Damm - I could have a zero alcohol, gluten free beer while winding down!

We were fortunate enough to receive an upgrade on check in. We had a huge room with a seating area and plenty of space for our cases as well as a huge walk in shower.
Whilst the dark decor wasnt to our taste, the room was immaculately clean and also very quiet.
The location is also great for exploring Barcelona. Wed have no hesitation in staying here again....
