clean hotel in a very good location, la rambla view.
a good breakfast.
very polite people in the reception.
the negative is that there was a bad smell in the bathroom, from the drainage....

Excellent location, close to all the key attractions in Barcelona. Hotel modern and nice. Staff very friendly. Welcome drink on arrival. Breakfast was amazing! Definitely worth the upgrade.
Only downside - some people were noisy in the middle of the night on Las Ramblas which woke us up....

"Perfect Location in the Heart of Barcelona!"
Rivoli Rambla is right in the heart of Catalunya, Barcelona a vibrant and exciting area full of life. Its the perfect base for exploring the city, with metro and bus stops just a minute away. Everything is within walking distance, and the atmosphere is full of energy and local charm. Definitely a fun and convenient place to stay!...

I write this with a heavy heart because the staff were very good BUT this is a forum for sharing experiences to help others, and noise was a significant issue. Had a large Superior room overlooking the Ramblas, but from 5.30am to after Midnight you could hear and feel the Metro trains passing under the building. Also there is a protest going on opposite the hotel most of every day with megaphones, drumming and chanti...

Hotel is very central and the rooms and bathroom is quite spacious for a central hotel. There is a large balcony area which has beautiful view of the city. The hotel is also secure only reception staff can buzz you as you enter reception which is good. Breakfast is good and offers a variety. The staff too were very welcoming and offered support in ordering us taxis as well as being available and on hand to answer que...
