We checked in and checked out in about an hour. The hotel seemed clean. Our room was small, but that was to be expected. It seemed clean, which is what mattered most to us. We immediately started the shower to get me in some warm water. I had fallen down some steps two days before and suffered a concussion and had 20+ stitches in my forehead from scalp to eyebrow. I had an absolutely amazing stay at Hôtel Théâtre Auditori! From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. Omar at the reception was outstandingso kind, friendly, and incredibly helpful. This is the best hotel in the city by far. When I say this goes against my interest, it is along the lines of a "best-kept secret." In terms of location, the hotel is 5/10 minutes from 4 subway stations that will get you anywhere in the city. Sagrada Familia is 15 minutes away, and the auditorium and the Theatre of Catalunya are in the immediate vicinity. The street is quiet, and the area has a neighborly feeling tha...

Very clean, with nice personal and good breakfast. But the main problem was Internet connection! If you look for a hotel with WiFi its definitely not the one you need. We stayed here for 3 days and WiFi was analysable only in the lobby area and in the -1 floor. No WiFi in rooms. The twin room we had was excellent.
The staff were kind and helpful.
We were very grateful of the tea and coffee facilities and the fridge in our room. (One small improvement could be the cups in room 605. The glass cups with tiny handles were difficult to carry without burning our hands.)
Particular praise for Vanessa she was able to look after all our needs at breakfast and helped me with my Spanish.
