Arrived in Barcelona when the powercut took place. Once we gotthe hotel no greeting from staff just eager to take name. Once confirmed taken to our room with a torch & left there in dark and provided with a room that was facing a wall so no natural sunlight.Once power was back not once did anyone from the hotel staff speak to us. Our recent stay at U232 Hotel was, quite frankly, an appalling experience and a complete insult to the price we paid 420 for two nights for what was marketed as a four-star hotel. What we received was not luxury, not even basic comfort, but a baffling collection of poorly executed design, substandard facilities, and an air of careless mediocrity.

On the plus side the hotel is well situated for many bars, local restaurants and the Metro, also the stops for the tour bus, however this was something we had to find out for ourselves because the reception team were very unhelpful and unfriendly,
If you are unlucky enough to have one of the back rooms, you will be looking into many private Apartments which is very intrusive, and makes the balcony unable to use, alt...

Pretty new, modern, and very clean hotel. Great-looking lobby. Generally good looking Interior Single Room without views, which I got (#706). Nice overall condition of all the furniture in my room. Beautiful and elegant bathroom design made with marble. High-quality bathroom amenities with very pleasant scents. Fast hotel Wi-Fi. Free umbrellas available in the lobby if you need one.

We stayed at U232 for 4 nights. We booked a room with a balcony & it looked out onto other apartments, which allowed for a quiet and peaceful environment. The room was big enough & the shower spacious and warm. The taps make a bit of a noise & you can hear other peoples sometimes, but nothing major. The bed was large but the mattress was on the firmer side, but not uncomfortable.
