Cornelia Diamond Golf Resort and Spa

Having visited 4 years ago, we decided to return for a weeks holiday, and again we weren’t disappointed. Arrived early hours of the morning and check in was very quick and easy, offered a glass of champagne and our bags were taken to our room. We had a seaview facing room, great size with balcony. Dove body wash in shower, along with shampoo/conditioner. Mini bar refreshed daily with plenty of water and soft drinks. Days were spent by the pool - the one with the waterfall - as this was much colder and more refreshing in the heat! Plenty of sunbeds available. Could help yourself to chilled bottles of water from Dome Bar. Breakfast buffet style with great selection. Lunch we ate at the Dome Bar, tables always available. Great service and fabulous food, either off a menu or just help yourself. Buffet changed daily too so never bored. Drinks service excellent and they would just keep bringing you fresh drinks without having to ask. Cheeky ice cream mid afternoon too, or later in afternoon jacket potatoes, small salad selection, cakes etc were available. A couple of times we had buffet for dinner but by far our favourite was Sappore, fantastic risotto, and definitely worth the extra 10€. We also dined at the Forest Pub, fabulous t-bone steak. We had no issues with making reservations for the a la carte restaurants from our room, it was straightforward. Great selection of drinks from the bars, the Pier is lovely late afternoon and evening - v chilled vibe. The staff are fantastic all over the resort. Always a hello or good day from everyone you encounter. Overall another fantastic holiday and will definitely return

I have holidayed at the Voyage 4 times and Cornelia Deluxe once and having enjoyed the Deluxe decided to give the Diamond a try as the we are now priced out of the Voyage and my partner enjoyed the chilled vibe at the Deluxe better anyway. We arrived at the hotel at around.1.30am after a 3.5 hour flight delay but we were still offered drinks with check in. We declined and went straight to the room as we were shattered. We could have ordered room service at €10 but just wanted to go to sleep. I had e mailed ahead to ask for a high sea facing room and for 3 extra pillows in the room and that is exactly what I got. Impressed. The room was the biggest room I have stayed in at a Belek hotel and was very comfortable. The decor is extremely dark however when the bed throws are removed and the white linen revealed it feels much better. The bathroom is strange with the sink separate to the toilet and then a separate wet room. Wet room is really good however it has a semi transparent window through to the bedroom which we as a family were not entirely comfortable with, especially our teenage daughter. There are loads of toiletries provided and these are replenished daily, as required. Room was cleaned daily to a high standard and mini bar was also replenished daily. Air con was really good and balcony was huge. Could do with better furniture on balcony and an extra chair given there were 3 of us in the room however we never asked either. Hotel and grounds are immaculate and a pleasure to walk around. It is a big plot and takes a little getting used to. We found the Wifi brilliant and had no issues with connection anywhere within the hotel. There are so many staff who were all very helpful, service was extremely good, we never had to wait and our orders were always correct. Only went to a few shows in the amphitheatre but enjoyed these.and.enjoyed the set up of the amphitheatre. Also enjoyed the Miss Cornelia entertainment. Good fun which involved audience interaction. Did not think would be our kind of thing but glad we went along. Live music each night which was good and again the drinks service at night was brilliant. Parties also very impressive with stiltwalkers and light shows plus.music was pretty good. The food at the hotel is fabulous. We enjoyed the buffet for breakfast and also had a few evening meals in there. Less manic than any other buffet I have experienced, easy to find seats plus the food choice was pretty extensive and of a high quality. Typically we do A La Carte every night if we.can but we were happy to eat in the buffet for 4 of our 7 nights at the hotel. We ate.in the Chinese twice and Mediterranean once. Had no issues booking from the room at 7pm and we also ate with friends and the phone gave us the option to easily book for a group. Enjoyed the setting of these restaurants plus the food and service were brilliant. Mediterranean menu is huge so be careful as we all ended up far too full, case of eyes bigger than our bellies. Lunch at the Dome Snack Bar is just brilliant. They have an extensive lunch menu plus a chef cooking a daily speciality noodles, mussels, quesadillas etc along with many help yourself options including rotisserie chicken, soup, burgers etc. Brilliant salad bar also. At 5pm there are cakes and baked potatoes, if you have any room. Drinks are all premium and cocktails were really good. There is a drinks menu but they will make anything up for you. Drank their version of Prosecco most evenings and really enjoyed it. The water slides are a bit dated and do not offer much excitement to a teen. There is also no drinks service.around the pools which is a shame. There are plenty of sun loungers and we never had an issue getting loungers at any time.of the day. We used the quiet adult section as our teen was old enough to get in here and we really enjoyed it. Staff were quick to ask families to move if they did bring children in. Overall we enjoyed this hotel and would not hesitate to return or recommend to others. It has a chilled out vibe which allowed us to relax for a week which now exactly what we needed.
