Paloma Grida

Me and my partner returned home yesterday after staying at the Paloma Grida for 1 week. We booked the holiday only a matter of weeks ago after waiting to find out where was safe to go. We were still a little nervous about going but once we had arrived the nerves had gone. We arrived at the hotel at 3am and were greeted by a friendly member of staff who took our temperature and explained all about the hotels app ect to book restaurants, and after completing track and trace forms we were shown to our room. We arrived tonour room and unfortuantly the key card didnt work and after waiting around we were already being moved to another room which wasnt the best start. We were moved to block 42 and first impressions of the room weren't great. It was very small, dark and basic, not what i expected for a 5* hotel. The balcony was tiny and could only fit 1 chair on it. We were also very far away from pools, beach restaurants ect. The next day i asked recpetion to move rooms, who showed me 2 other rooms which were pretty much the same, so then upgraded us to a family room in block 19 which was lovely. The room was much more spacious, with a bathroom with a bath and separate shower, 1 double bed, 1 single bed and a sofa bed. All rooms also have a mini fridge that is restocked almost daily. The balcony was also slightly bigger. The only thing i found odd about this room was there was no ceiling light, only 5 lamps, so as you can imagine the lighting wasnt the best to get ready in, even with all curtains open. Rooms were cleaned daily, with lovely displays from the maids on the bed with towels. The main restaurant was brilliant. All tables disinfected after ever use, waiter service for drinks.. our glasses were very rarely empty. The food was brilliant, the only thing that let it down for me was the lack of an english breakfast... no sausage or bacon!? I had pancakes every morning. All staff in the hotel were brilliant. I didnt see one member without a mask and gloves on which cant have been easy in the 40 degrees heat we had whilst there. They are constantly cleaning tables, disinfecting all services. Thank you for all your hard work to keep us all safe! Every night there is live music in either the zomm bar or beach bar starting at 9.30. We chose to give this a miss and took to going down the adult beach bar every night which made the hotel for us. You sit there on a outdoor sofa with scatter cushions for extra comfort, a candle in front of you, listening to the sounds of the sea. An extra special thank you to the staff in this bar for looking after us, bringing us drinks, crisps ect. We loved it here. We spent most of the holiday around the pool which was very clean and very decent size. There are a couple of large pools but we chose to stay by the one playing music. One tip for the hotel... change the music!! It was the same music every single day and the same songs played 3/4 times a day. This started to drive us a little crazy. It was my partners birthday while we were there so i informed the hotel who arranged for a bottle of chardonnay and fruit to be put in the room which was a nice touch. The only thing was we chose to not drink the bottle straight away as we're not big drinkers and planned to bring it home.. but 2 days later we came back to the room and it had gone!? So thanks for the thought but we didnt actually get to keep it!? Every day you are approached by the hotel photographers and spa staff trying to sell you things, but once we had said we weren't invested they didnt bother us but still said hello every time they saw us. I didnt find this to be an issue at all. Overall, i would return to this hotel, but i would request the same block as the one we were moved to to save being disappointed in one of the smaller rooms. Thank you for making our holiday as normal as it could be during a very difficult time for us all!

Just finished packing after a fantastic week at this resort. What is not to like about this place rooms clean, food varied and very very good. al a carte restaurants amazing as was was the service by all the staff, who made you feel welcome and safe. they have put a lot of effort in our safety for COVID. And I for one appreciated it. One shout to an amazing waitress IKRA😀 thank you. But also a big thank you to all the staff. We had a Fantastic time see you again. Tesekkur ederim

From day one everything was excellent !! i recommend with all confidence this resort , very beautiful and clean rooms,delicious and varied food every day , very welcoming staff and very careful to have everything you need.This resort it’s a good choice especially in this pandemic period, you can feel safe, all the staff wears mask and you can find desinfectant at any corner. And let's not forget all the best parties every night that were organized by Bulent Kose ,who is a wonderful man who makes you have a fun-filled vacantion,good party organizer and helps with anything you need. I will miss this place but I will definitely be back next year! Five stars for real! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
