Fabulous hotel - great location in the city centre with lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. It is about 20 mins walk to the old town, but a pleasant walk. And the Guggenheim is only about 10 mins away. The room was very comfortable (the extremely helpful man on reception kindly upgraded us to a superior room without us asking, so we were very grateful!) with a little balcony, although we didn't use it as the...

We adore Bilbao and we love this hotel. This is the second time we have stayed and we would happily book again. The service from the staff on reception is always welcoming and extremely helpful. Wonderful Rocio who served us in the restaurant was a delight. Good location on a main thoroughfare through the city centre, close to the river and easy walking distance to the Guggenheim Museum.
We have used Catalonia hotels before and had a good experience and so it was this time. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was large clean comfortable and everything worked.

Absolutely amazing hotel with all amenities you could ask for. Upon arrival with our rental car, there were 2 dedicated spaces directly in front of the hotel on the street for loading and unloading. Super helpful and relaxed entry. They sent a staff member outside to assist with luggage and also to help us into the garage with our car.
