I was unable to sleep due to the excessively hot rooms, which remained at that temperature throughout the night. Unfortunately, there was no maintenance available to address the air conditioning issue. Additionally, we were unable to change rooms due to the absence of staff to repair the beds. It is unfortunate that during a vacation, one is forced to endure sleepless nights simply because the establishment lacks the...

A decent hotel in a good location for the sights. Chose it also as I wanted to avoid a gimmicky open bathroom!
Quiet, clean spacious room which had everything we needed. Fantastic breakfast. Pleasant, helpful staff.
The only downside was paying extra for the balcony-terrace, which wasnt really worth it the view was limited and the space felt concrete, drab & tired, so we barely used it despite the good weather....

Mid January and late February. My go to place to stay in Bilbao. Has its own underground parking, with lift access - important for me as Im a wheelchair user and it makes arrival and departure and luggage easy.
Nice larger than average bedrooms, well fitted adapted accessible wet room and a large bed.

My stay at Catalonia Gran VÃa Bilbao was excellent! The hotel has a very central location in Bilbao, close to major attractions such as the Guggenheim Museum, as well as restaurants and shops, making getting around very easy. Fabulous hotel - great location in the city centre with lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. It is about 20 mins walk to the old town, but a pleasant walk. And the Guggenheim is only about 10 mins away.
