Well located lovely hotel

Lovely hotel. Well located for visiting the city centre sights. Easily walkable to city centre where there are plenty of fabulous restaurants. If needed, there is a good affordable transport system convenient to hotel and extends throughout the city. Staff always available, helpful and friendly. Whilst no physical bar available, alcoholic beverages are available via reception staff....

First the positives, good location not too far to walk into the centre and also 5 mins from the tram. Car parking ( need to book) is also a bonus. Room and bathroom clean and decent size.
That said it is quite expensive (even for Bordeaux in summer), breakfast is average at best given the add on cost eg running out of cereal, yoghurt....

The hotel was excellent -the rooms were clean and quiet and the breakfast was excellent. All the staff were friendly and very helpful especially Isabella who checked me in and gave lots of good recommendations. The Bordeaux City Pass wes useful to get free access to museums and free travel on the extensive public transport network...
