Stayed here end of june beginning of july with my partner and 2 year old son. Was an excellent holiday all the staff and entertainment was brilliant, had loads of time for the kids and getting them involved be it in the day or at night. The splash park was fantastic and was always able to get a sun lounger around it so he could play all day which he literally did. Never any queues at pool bar for drinks which was brilliant and could pull your own pint in the restaurant at meal times which was a good touch aswell as fanta or coca cola. Going to try a new holiday this year but stuck to menorca as we really enjoyed the relaxed environment of the place but I wouldnt hesitate recommending this place to families especially ones with kids under 10, will probably visit again in the future.

We were looking for a one week break in September to enjoy the last of the summer sun when the prices are reduced, after most children go back to school. This review then is based on having essentially paid half price for the holiday; I may have expected more for full price. For what we wanted though, it was 5 stars. Transfers were included so getting to the hotel was very straightforward. We were amongst the first to check-in after arriving and consequently found it to be a painless process. The staff were helpful and also gave us a free alcoholic drink while we waited. The lobby area of the hotel is attractively designed with a yellow and grey colour scheme (which I personally love) - I partly chose the hotel because of its aesthetic, including the exterior with the apartments around the pool (which changes colour in the evening), and I wasn't disappointed. The only part to let down its appearance is the hotel on approach from the road, which looks a bit shabbier. The room matched the photos too and therefore was exactly what we were looking for. I have no complaints about cleanliness or noise. The only things I noticed that I would change are the typical, very small things you notice when on beach holidays: in the evenings the shower would run lukewarm because of the volume of people showing at once; the preference to provide two single beds pushed together instead of one double; the apartment provided some crockery and cutlery but no bowls for cereal. If I was paying full price, I may have an issue with the wonky shelf fixtures that look a little cheap, because you'd want to see what that money got you, but for us, this apartment was fantastic. In terms of hotel amenities, we only really used one, which was the pool area. Space wasn't an issue as the pool is big enough and there are enough sun loungers to provide for everyone in September. We booked one trip through the hotel and that was a great day out at a reasonable price. We were self-catering so I cannot comment on the restaurant, nor the spa as we did not use those facilities. The location is good. The journey from the airport is longer than many other destinations but still not long. The hotel is centrally positioned in Cala'n Forcat therefore a number of bars and restaurants are easily accessible on foot. Only a few places had closed by the time of our visit (third week of September). The nearest city, Ciutadella, can be easily reached by bus. There is also a bus that goes to some of the other nearby resorts. If there's one thing to let the location down it is the lack of a proper sandy beach, so we chose to take the bus to Cala'n Bosch to use the beach there instead. I'm so glad we gave up looking at Malta, which was expensive for what you got, and instead came to this hotel in Menorca. If I was the sort of person who did repeat holidays, I'd definitely come here again because we had an amazing time. Highly recommended if you can get a good deal.
