A great hotel and holiday for families
    09 Nov , 2019 Nicwellie
We travelled as a group of 7 in July/early August. We stayed for 14 nights. Firstly - the rooms for 4 were a decent size and there was plenty of room to move around. The room for 3 people was very cramped and we were unfortunately on a junction with the other size of the building so there was little privacy on the balcony. Not a massive issue but a bit of a pain and not the best. Rooms were cleaned every day and had decent air con though, which was more important. We stayed the first week of the Welsh summer break and there was a stark difference between the two weeks (the latter being after the English schools broke up). The atmosphere the first week was much better, and more relaxed - you could leave your pool floats overnight and they’d be there the following day and people would use each other’s with no issue. The second week was a bit more dog eat dog - we lost a floaty due to a family claiming it as their own. The Sunbed Wars were ever present in varying degrees during the two weeks we were here. The second week saw people queuing from 7am every morning, complete with sharp elbows and a relaxed jog. Unfortunately it was necessary if you had smaller children and needed to keep a keener eye on them in the pool. If you didn’t want or need poolside Lou gets you would probably be OK to just come down as and when you fancied it - there’s plenty of grassy area to lay your towel down. Food - this was a highlight for us. We’ve done plenty of AI before but this was one of the best. There was plenty of variety and it was all hot - definitely above a 3 star standard. Yes, this are often repeated but on the whole I didn’t see too much repetition in our fortnight. We thoroughly enjoyed most meals we had. I would just suggest to management that there be a few extra tables assigned for larger parties - from memory, I can only recall 5/6 suited to 8 people, which can be tricky. We didn’t mind eating on different tables but it may have been an issue for some. You can book tables but this has to be before 7pm for dinner, which is far too early in my opinion. It would also be nice if the dining room hours could be extended by 30mins/1hr or so, as it would be nice to eat a bit later. We often wouldn’t leave the pool until 6pm so we could be in a bit of a rush! Drinks were fine - they abolished the 2 drink rule whilst we were these albeit it wasn’t a massive issue usually. Entertainment is what let’s this place down. It’s pretty dire! The team work hard during the day but more professional acts would be welcome in the evening although, I’m not sure how this would work as there’s definitely an inside and outside area. It would be great to watch some decent acts outside, as I have done in previous hotels, but not sure the Haiti is equipped for this in any event. The hotel is situated across from a supermarket which is handy for snacks that aren’t included in the AI (and better wine than is served - although it is playable enough). It’s about a 10 min straightforward walk from the beach. We stayed towards the quieter end (towards the open air market) and it was idyllic- a far cry from the highly populated area down the promenade. We also took a private return transfer from the airport - so we were sat at the pool from an early-ish flight by 2pm, which was fantastic. We heard many people having a 2-3hr transfer from Palma so were thankful we’d booked our own. All in all, it was a great holiday. There were some faults but I think people forget it’s only a 3 star hotel. I would definitely return as the positives far outweigh any negatives.
    Lovely Hotel & Polite Staff

A group of 11 of us stayed here for 11 nights. The hotel is on the main road but very close to shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. The staff at the hotel were very polite & friendly. The entertainment staff were brill throughout the day and night getting the adults involved just as much as the children. Theres a small indoor play area and a outdoor playarea within the hotel. You are able to hire a kettle from reception and you leave a deposit but get it back when you return the kettle. They only have so many kettles though. Food was good and always hot. We had allergies within our group and the head chef always showed us what we could and couldnt eat. And due to CC we could order food to be cooked and brought out instead of having it off the buffet. Hotel could do with some tlc but that didnt bother us. The beds were comfy. The rooms were clean. The views are great. We would stop here again.
    Brilliant

Two weeks spent at this hotel and what a fab time we had . Rooms were modern and kept clean. Two pools , one nice and quiet . Food very well presented and something for everyone. The entertainment team were fab , offered games but not too pushy. The dance was fun . Our rep Charley was always helpful and about if you needed her . Outside entertainment 3 x on our stay were all brilliant class acts . Other nights the team did bit of this n that , quiz , bingo and dance shows . Everyone in this hotel worked hard to ensure you had a good time . Sadly last couple of days were spoilt by parents letting their kids run riot unsupervised , but that was not the hotels fault

The hotel was ok needing a bit of tlc in places, the best thing was the food which was very good, the entertainment not so good. The resort itself was closing down so not a lot of places to go so would not return to Majorca in October as also the weather is not very good. I must mention that all the staff were very nice and polite and friendly.
