Very large resort lots to do for the children. We went as a couple for a week had the royal terrace beautiful very spacious and clean couldn’t fault that at all loved the jacuzzi. I’m a fussy eater but the range of food was great. Staff overall were all friendly and nothing to much trouble. Entertainment not brilliant all children orientated. Town on 5 minutes from hotel lots of bars shops. As much as I loved the holiday I think adults only for me next time.More

We stayed at the Hotel at the beginning of September four adults and a two year old, the weather was not the best but being so close to the centre of Can Picafort and the beach made the walk along the front with a pram easy. We stayed in block two on the first floor. We had two rooms one of which was great very spacious and clean and had been slightly updated the other room next door was still spacious but had a problem with ants and had not been updated, which was a shame. The food at the Hotel was very good and we as a family had no complaints, also the drinks service in evening was very good the staff worked extremely hard. The facilities for our two year old grandson was very good and he had a fantastic time. The only negative was the entertainment, it was dire! the children's entertainment team for the children's disco at the start of the evening was a complete let down, children just want music to dance to not listen to an award ceremony for events that have happened during the day in all the different languages. We traveled with Jet2 and having read reviews before we traveled regarding the time on the coach to resort, we decided to arrage a taxi which took 45 minutes. We used Suntranfers which I booked online. They were brilliant to deal with no problems at all. The cost was around £200 return which included child car seat, 7 seater Mercedes minivan. Sorry forgot to say if you are thing of booking a garden room or swin up room with small children be aware the gardens are not secure and children can easily fit the the small bushes that surround the private garden, we are so glad we didn't choose this option for our us.More
Visit to join daughter, son in law and grandson
Hotel was excellent. Room was spacious, very clean and very well maintained the bed was large and comfortable. hotel grounds were spotlessly clean with plenty of sunbeds. The water in all the swimming pools was a bit chilly for us but there was plenty of good quality equipment for the children to play on. We were all inclusive and all the bars provided a high level of service. We were particularly pleased that bottles of water are freely available and are plentiful all day. Children's and adult's ice cream also available. Food in the main restaurant was not particularly hot especially the cooked breakfast selection but there was always an extensive selection of salads, breads and fruit. The entertainment was an excellent blend for children and adults A worry for us was that as this is a family resort we would be kept awake at night by unruly children and drunken adults but we were very happy that it was one of the quietest hotels we have ever stayed in. This was not a cheap alternative holiday but it was value for money and we were very happy with our choice of resort. All the staff were efficient and courteous especially the children's entertainers. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. .More

Amazing family vacation
Large resort with a lot of activities for children. My kids loved it. Great food at the buffet restaurant. All inclusive available, definitely worth it. The rooms need to be refurbished and could be in better condition (leaky toilet, black dots in the shower ...)More
Perfect for young families.
We booked an 8-night stay at the Zafiro Can Picafort and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. It is a perfect resort catering for those with young families and our 4 year old was beaming all holiday! We will certainly be returning in the near future. See below for our pros and cons: Hotel and staff pros: •Hotel is kept very clean, very modern, grounds are very well looked after, felt safe and secure. Small supermarket on site was useful. •Can't fault any of the staff, very friendly and helpful, all speak good English and are easily understood. Hotel cons: •Location: Not major as it is quite a nice walk, but worth noting that the beach is a good 10min walk away. Straight forward to get there by cutting through a park and seafront shops. •We also have a 11month old who was ready for bed by 9pm each night, but you could hear the evening entertainment from inside the room until it finished at 11pm. Our room, located towards rear of the hotel, was not particularly well sound-proofed. (I can't however speak for the other rooms and did not hear any other guests speaking the same complaint). •Never understand why using a safe in your room should have an additional cost, but most hotels have this fee nowadays, think this was around £7/day. Food pros: •Plenty provided, never felt we were left with scraps even when we arrived at the buffet last minute. •Great for the kids, ice cream available all day! •Cooked in front of you so looks and tastes fresh. •All Inclusive guest can use the a la cart restaurant twice during their stay, this was a nice change to the buffet. Food cons: •Maybe a bit more variety would have been nice, but on par with other All Inclusive hotels we have been to recently. Turkey made a regular appearance! Swimming Pool Pros: •Kids pool with pirate ship etc was amazing, 4 year old spent most of his time there. •Plenty of pools to choose from, quiet ones located near the swim ups and garden rooms. •Very clean and well maintained. •No sun bed hogging observed! Swimming Pool cons: •Kids pool did not feel heated, but is shallow (0.5m) so was fine by the afternoon. Entertainment pros: •Again great for the kids, staff are very well trained, lots to do from 10am - 11pm. Beach pros: •Very clean, lifeguard on duty, felt safe. •Plenty shops and restaurants on the front. Beach cons: •10 min walk. •Beach is long but quite narrow, so got busy and crowded quite quickly. Tips: we booked with Thomas Cook, who provided free coach transfer to and from airport, this however will add an extra 2hours to your overall journey as this hotel is always the last drop off and first pick up. Read reviews about this and other hotel guests confirmed this, so we pre booked a taxi for around £120 (return) and it was worth every penny! More
