Didnt find the staff as friendly as other RIU in other countries. Too expensive for what I got. Not a good value for what I got. Breakfast was okay not as good as other countries RIU hotels ...

Upon arrival, they were very attentive to take our bags up to our room. They were helpful with what times for breakfast and that the rooftop bar was easiest to get into with a reservation. The rooms were very clean and comfy. The shower pressure felt amazing after a long day of basketball. It was the perfect location for food and shopping! A+ location! A+ breakfast! A+ room & shower!
This is one of the nicest hotels Ive ever visited. Perfect location. Amazing breakfast. Very clean and modern. Even a fantastic shower! I would highly recommend the Riu Chicago! If we ever go back to Chicago, I wont even consider other hotels. I have nothing bad to say at all....

Great hotel, great breakfast, terrible pillows. I requested firmer pillows but they only seem to stock one type; flat and not supportive. At least the staff was responsive.This was my third stay at a RIU property (both NYC locations and Chicago). ...
