Lovely new hotel. Great location. Fabulous free breakfast. Weve stayed at the Riu plaza San Francisco and Chicago was much a much better hotel and breakfast!
Dont let the concierge offer to arrange a taxi back to OHare airport for you though! Felt a little conned! $53 inc tip inbound in a standard taxi! $80 return trip organised by the concierge! Nothing special, just a curb driver who was organised privately. L...

The location is perfect near Michigan Ave and the River and the hotel is clean and modern with nice sized rooms. The included breakfast is amazing! But best of all, we had to check out a day early as the January 2026 winter storm was coming and going to seriously affect our travel home and the hotel refunded us that night back. It was a pretty regular experience. The staff in the front was helpful, thats why I gave it 4 stars and also because the breakfast was good! The biggest negative was not having a microwave available anywhere on the premises for guests to use. Nor did they have ice machines or ice buckets for the ice that was given at the bar.
