MISLEADING LISTING AND BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

We bought a special deal on Priceline. The Priceline listing referenced "incidental expenses". When we arrived at the hotel to check in, we discovered that "incidental expenses" includes a MANDATORY $147 PER NIGHT "resort fee" for meals and amenities we didn't want and couldn't afford to pay for. Prepaid through Priceline. When we got there to check in we were forced to pay for the all inclusive package. Complete SCAM!! $146/DAY!! We have been to this hotel several times in the past and NEVER encountered this!! We will NEVER go back!! Breakfast is garbage and they value it at $70. What a joke!! Booked this hotel on what I figured was a too good to be true rate. When I dug in I discovered a MASSIVE $175 a night resort fee.
There is no other way to describe this than a scam. This hotel should be ashamed....

I booked a stay at the Ambassador through a major OTA just to test how transparent their pricing really was. At no point during the booking process was there any mention of an additional $150 Guest Experience Package fee. When I arrived, the hotel refused to honor the OTA rate unless I paid this undisclosed charge.

I booked a room from Sunday to Wednesday through super and once I arrived they said it's an additional $164 per night resort fee. On top of the booking price and the $125 security deposit. I literally waited 11 hours in the lobby for a room before the booking site finally said they weren't covering the unadvertised mark-up. The Omni it most certainly is not....
