From my first contact with the hotel over the phone to the moment that I waved goodbye a few days later I was very impressed. I had booked a single room without realising just how small (7 sqm) such a room can be in Copenhagen so was very happy to accept an offered upgrade to a room twice the size for a only few pounds more. Top class location within walking distance of everything Copenhagen has to offer. Room perfectly adequate for our needs on a city break. Bathroom a little on small side but perfectly adequate. Room cleaning on request before 9am, however we did not require this during our stay. Pleasant staff on reception. Nice buzz in lobby.

We had a lovely short stay at Wide Hotel in Copenhagen. The location is very good, just a short walk from central station and The Tivoli Gardens. Its also close to the main shopping streets and plenty of nearby restaurants and cafés making it a great base for exploring Copenhagen. The rooms were cosy, clean and a good size for a city hotel. First of all, the staff that run this hotel day to day, are excellent, and you generally feel as if they would bend over backwards to help and assist to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We visited Copenhagen for 3 nights for my partners 30th Birthday, with our 2 year old son.
I would say this hotel is more suited to couples rather than families for sure, we were moved rooms as the initial one wasnt really ...

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Wide Hotel. The location was great and our Penthouse Suite had a private balcony. Aside from the terribly high prices which was basically true for everything in Copenhagen, there were very few negatives. Although our room was quite nice, having to use an outside rooftop walkway and go the length of the hotel to our room was annoying. There was a very odd bathtub placement which too...
