    Nestled in the hills of Costa Adeje, the Parque Del Sol is in a prime spot for beach-seeking holidaymakers.

    The hotel has a river-like pool that winds through the property, lined with sunloungers and palm trees. There's also a separate kids' pool, as well as an adults-only whirlpool. The buffet restaurant serves up breakfast and dinner, while the poolside snack bar takes care of the in-between – each room has a kitchenette, too.

    The hotel's on the south coast of Tenerife, with the centre of Costa Adeje just a 20-minute walk away. Guests will find a lively selection of bars and eateries, plus shops and nightclubs. There are a couple of beaches to choose from in town, and the nearest one's just five minutes away on foot.

    Lovely holiday

    We stayed here in February 2020 [before Coronavirus struck] and had a lovely holiday. The apartments are well situated within a few minutes of supermarkets and 5 minutes to the beach. It's a bit longer on the way back as uphill. Our apartment was well equipped for basic cooking. There was a coffee maker although no kettle which is often the case on the continent. There was plenty of space and the beds were comfortable. The apartment was clean on arrival and cleaned nearly every day we were there. Swimming pool is large and was a bit chilly at first but much warmer when they turned the heating up a bit. There were plenty of sunbeds as the apartments were nothing like full. We were self catering but ate breakfast in the buffet restaurant one day and it was plentiful and good quality. The rest of the time we ate out as there are many restaurants within easy walking distance. We would definitely return here if we go to Tenerife again.
    Return to this wonderful place after 30 years

    I first visited Parque del sol 30 years ago when my children were small and we were the first ever customers. It was wonderful then. I found their card in my holiday file from those years ago and decided it would be fun to return. We have not been disappointed. Our appartment is perfect with a kitchenette in a corner of the lounge, a separate bedroom and toilet and a very large balcony. The apartment is extremely clean and the towels are changed whenever we want them to be. Unfortunately I damaged my foot on the first day at the airport and so have spent probably more time than usual within the complex. The staff have been brilliant, really friendly and helpful. The food at the pool bar for lunch is exceptionally good and great value for money. Infinity restaurant is also good with payment only for drinks which was a very pleasant surprise. We were able to book a wheelchair so that I could actually visit the beach. The swimming pool is really special, very large and curves around the complex. Also there were enough beds whatever time of day we decided to go to the pool. I cannot recommend Parque del sol enough. Wonderful holiday despite my ankle. We will definately return.

    Not good for restricted mobility guests as stairs and slopes galore. Rooms were clean and good shower, but only have ceiling fans which I doubt be enough in summer. Hot dishes in restaurant good but the desserts much the same day after day and you had to brave the Elements to reach restaurant , and if route to restaurant was being cleaned made it slippy underfoot.

    Spent a week at the Parque del Sol, the swimming pool area is good, but that is the only positive I can write about these apartments. We were allocated Apartment I 2.7 on arrival, on entering the apartment it was self evident that it needed a full refurbishment. All the surfaces that you prepare food on were chipped and cracked. Every door and drawer in the kitchenette, fronts were hanging off and thick with grease underneath. All the paintwork throughout the apartment was peeling and chipped away. There was black mould around the seal on the bath and toilet. A complaint was put through to our holiday provider TUI. Contact was made by them to the hotel. It was made clear that we couldn’t be moved as they were over booked. It was agreed that Maintenace would come that evening, by 9.30 PM. I spoke with reception and it was agreed they would come first thing the next day. By 11.00 AM they hadn’t shown up. On querying with reception they said they knew nothing about it. The TUI rep visited the apartment at 3.00PM just a maintenace finally turned up to do the sealant. At 6.30 PM maintenance turned up to stick the cupboard fronts. They used an industrial strength glue sprayed it on so when the glue had dried two of the cupboards were glued shut as was the lid of the kettle. What a disaster the whole apartment was but even worse was how the hotel responded. I would never stay in these apartments again as they are of such a poor standard I would classify them a 1* not a 3*.

    it is so good we keep coming back , centrally located , comfortable apartment , good restaurant on site , staff welcoming & helpful . Looking forward to coming back in March 20 , always come to Fanabe area it like coming home
