Confirmed & Paid 3-Bedroom Apartment Not Honored on New Years Eve

We had a confirmed and fully paid booking for a three-bedroom apartment at Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort, booked directly through the hotel. This was meant to be a New Years Eve family celebration.
Upon arrival on December 31, we were shockingly informed that the three-bedroom apartment was no longer available. No prior notice. No warning. No explanation that justified the inconvenience.

We had a confirmed and partially paid booking (the rest of payment upon checked in) for a three-bedroom accommodation at Sheraton The Walk for December 31, with check-in at 2:00 PM. Upon arrival, we were informed that no three-bedroom units were available due to overbooking, despite our confirmation.

Very good staff and a very beautiful, modern hotel. I have been to many countries, and the employees here are among the best Ive met. They are very kind and helpful, especially Happy, whose professional behavior truly surprised and impressed me....

Great location, free parking and friendly service. Room has basic furniture but the bed was comfortable. I had 2 single beds and the hotel made a king bed by putting additional mattress, which was nice.
Front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Club lounge offers happy hour (6-8pm) with a variety of bite size food and a few beer/wine, soda and coffee. I really enjoyed the lounge.
