Our first stay in Dubrovnik and at a Valamar hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and well looked after by the team each day. The location of the hotel was perfect with great views and good transport links into the city, plus the walks by the waterfront were relaxing when we took them. We stayed here for a week in mid October. The staff were friendly, helpful and always willing to help out where they could..yes, there were times a smile or greeting wouldnt have gone amiss but everyone is entitled to the odd bad day..
The food was always fresh but it was very limited. If youve got kids that enjoy burgers, chicken nuggets etc then this place is not for you..not that this is a criticism because it ...

Location is quite and excelent, just a few minutes from old town with taxi. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, and noise level is very low. Just love it.
The staff is very helpful and friendly. The food is great and varied. Theres something for everyone.
For the kids there is Maro wolrd which is perfect.
This is my second time in Valamar hotels and it wont be the last one for sure....

Absolute solid 4 star. Booked a superior room through Tui and had a perfectly nice room on 4th floor overlooking dining area. Yes i would've liked kettle in room. Free safe, decent shower, bed fine though pillows bit soft.

We had a wonderful stay here. Our room was at the back of the hotel on the first floor so we had a lovely view of the gardens. It was very quiet and peaceful. The room was clean and well equipped for our needs. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful.
