Stayed 3 nights in the Albani Firenze.
Overall our stay was good. The hotel is in a very good location, near train station and other sites. The hotel is old world, not our taste but charming, nevertheless
Our room was comfortable, clean, quiet with good amenities. No shower stall. Had to step into bathtub to take a shower which was not very convenient.
Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options. Not sure why ...

No Internet available. When queried we were informed that there was no reception because of the numerous high buildings surrounding the hotel.
The breakfast is the worst I have had in a long time. There was a minimal selection to choose from and there was no change in choice during our stay of 5 days!

Unstable hotspot instead of proper wifi.
Front staff is cold and unwelcoming
The hotel does not gym and the gym is next building another property - very inconvenient....

Arrived today, room fine so tried to extend for another day
Booked a better room and paid on line
Okay, front desk said would check when booking came through
Just arrived back at hotel after having Fantastic day in Florence and a meal to die for
Its our anniversary tomorrow so was going to book restaurant and have a night to remember

We checked in round 1pm and our room was ready, good start.
The reception staff were all friendly and helpful though out our stay.
The hotel public areas are really nice, it feels like a quality hotel.
We had a superior room on the 4 th floor with roof top terrace, which was very pleasant though too hot to use much of the time.
