FABULOUS Florence at the palazzo dal borgo

This a a gem of a hotel. Quiet old fashioned charm perfectly located for exploring Florence. Staff super lovely polite smiling and every whim was catered for. Just a delight from start to finish with a bountiful delicious breakfast. Home from home feeling and very secure not to mention a hidden courtyard garden with a huge citrus tree at the centre. Glazing makes this an all weather experience. Just the best ...

This hotel was great to stay in for my 4 day stay in Florence. Central location and easy to walk to everything including the train station.
The hotel itself is beautiful, clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was good with a nice view out the window. Shower pressure was a little soft and the bed was a little hard but overall was great for just crashing at the end of a long day of walking around Fl...

Authentic Italian hotel

This is a beautiful authentic Italian hotel, which is central for almost all the sights of Florence.
The staff are very helpful approachable and friendly . Our room was extremely comfortable,and very clean as were the communal areas. Breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Florence....

Staying for a second time, a very comfortable, clean, charming and friendly place Location is great. Service is perfect. A temporary glitch with the shower was sorted out immediately. I prefer its old-fashioned charm and decorative style to more slick and shiny hotels and will be happy to return....

Beautiful hotel within easy walking distance of the major sites in Florence.
Fabulous staff. Large, comfortable rooms. Large shower. Everything clean and beautifully decorated.
My only criticism is the very hard pillows.
Nice being able to easily control the temperature in the room.
Lovely, complete assortment of food at breakfast....
