    The Excelsior Le Terrazze is a stylish hotel set in a scenic position above the lake, reached by a sloping path from the road.

    It's conveniently located just a short walk from both the resort centre and the lakeside promenade. Spend your days relaxing by the pool or in the private lakeside gardens - approximately a 10-minute walk away - or grab a drink on the terrace overlooking the pool and lake. This ever-popular hotel offers first-class service and exceptionally smart, comfortable accommodation.

    Please note that there is a steep walk up to the hotel from the road. This may be an issue for those with walking difficulties.

    Some side lake views may be partially obscured by trees, which are centuries old and protected by law.

    Just so you know, a tourist tax is payable locally in cash. This will be approximately €1.50 per person, per night.

    Please note that safety standards around balconies, railings and public walkways are different in Italy and may be lower or have ornamental features that you wouldn’t see in the UK or Ireland.

    The hotel was magnificent. 300 metres from the restaurants and bars of Garda and 600 metres from its own private lakeside garden oasis. The staff were friendly and professional. The breakfast was delicious. The bar and pool area were the epitome of La Bella Italia! Only slight downside was that parking at the hotel was a bit difficult but it did not spoil the excellent stay.

    Hotel seemed not working at a full capacity so finding sunbeds by the pool was no issue. At breakfast you have to order from the menu but they bring pretty much anything you want. Check out time is at 10:00 so its super early but they let you enjoy the pool after the check out time and even before check in time even if your room might not be ready at early arrival. Parking is sort of a hustle as its quite uncomfortable and there not that many spots. It is free though if you can get a spot.

    Lovely week spent here, didn't want to leave. Hotel was perfect, staff looked after everything for us and the food was amazing. Such a relaxing place, can't recommend it enough. Would love to come back.

    We stayed early in September and totally enjoyed the most relaxing week in beautiful lake Garda . The hotel is welcoming and homely . The room was comfortable and kept lovely and clean by the friendly housekeeping ladies . The pool area is so wonderful to return to after a days sightseeing and there was never any need to reserve a bed . Breakfast was lovely with a good choice . Evening meal was great like visiting a restaurant every night , ordering a starter and main course from the menu . The staff were all very friendly and helpful . We loved coming back late afternoon and relaxing in the outside bar area with a nice Aperol spritz . The hotel is well located and only a 10/15 minute stroll to Garda centre where you will find some great bars , restaurants and shops . It is also only 5 minutes from where you get a boat to visit the other beautiful towns on the lake . If you like to do a bit of shopping Bardolino was great on market day for pottery and knitwear bargains and the town also was delightful to visit . I highly recommend this hotel it was lovely for couples of all ages

    Very clean hotel with great breakfast and dinner. Very convenient free parking. Stunning views. Free tea coffee and cake in the afternoon. Staff very helpful.Had a compact room which was cosy and had a small balcony which was a bonus.
