Gorgeous hotel, but needs a lot of improvements

Things we liked:
- The hotel looks gorgeous.
- The breakfast has a lot of options, including vegan ones. As the breakfast room is quite small, it can get quite crowded. We always found a table, though.
Things that we were not fond of:
- It's located at least 15-25 minutes walk from the city centre, depending on where you are going. The hotel is definitely not for people who are not able to walk long distances. It's...

Creepy feel

Its a little creepy to tell you the truth. It had a Shining vibe to it. The room was average. When we were getting ready to leave a loud announcement came over a speaker above the door saying that the problem had been fixed go back to work. Not sure what the problem was though. Freaked us out. Breakfast buffet was good....

A Mixed Experience at a Contemporary Hotel

The hotel has a modern and cosy feel and is very clean. The rooms are comfortable, full of character, and well-maintained. However, we found the location challenging as we were traveling with two elderly parents and it was quite a distance from the city centre (30 minute walk). That said, we used Bolt taxis which were convenient and a great price!

Disappointing hotel, maybe trying a bit too hard to be edgy or trendy, with a surprising lack of customer awareness.
We spent 3 nights here in late November early December, visiting Gdansk and spending some time at the excellent Christmas market. The hotel is a 10 - 15 minute walk from the old town, which is fine as we like to walk, but is in an area of the city which is in need of some regeneration.

Great hotel and I dont regret staying here, but there were a couple of things that let it down. It used to be a hospital and has been renovated to have a very industrial look- lots of exposed brick, and pipes. However, it is very warm and welcoming. It is about 15 min walk from town which we didnt mind as we like a walk, but it might be too far for others, especially walking back late at night the last 2 or 3 minut...
