This lagoon-side hotel's getting a fresh lick of paint for December 2017. You can expect a generous helping of restaurants and pools, plus lots of extra little luxuries.
The LUX* Grand Gaube is spread out along a calm lagoon, with a triple helping of beaches. There are a couple of pools overlooking the sands, a stack of watersports to try, and five restaurants that you can skip between.
Staff like to keep things quirky, so you can expect to find little extras like a secret bar for mix-your-own cocktails, spa vouchers in bottles hidden around the gardens, and a red phone box for free calls home.

Wow it is going to be amazing
We went to visit Lux Grand Gaube as we are over on holiday and have been relocated to Lux belle mare this year but couldn’t bear not to go and see the place we lovingly call our second home to see if it will be as amazing as it looks on Facebook.....and it does! The plans are indeed adventurous and exciting but the heart of the hotel’s success is its amazing team and their passion for doing everything they can to make your holiday the very best it can be in every way: we were reminded just how special the team are and how excited they are to introduce all the new wonderful changes but still keep all the aspects we all love so much about it. It will be worth it I know, having seen it this week, and we can’t wait to return and enjoy the new facilities as well as reacquainting ourselves with all the team members from before who make up the Lux Grand Gaube family and are all still there ready and waiting! If you are thinking about booking don’t delay it will be amazing I am sure and we came back to Lux belle mare counting the days until we can go back to Lux Grand Gaube, the best hotel in the world , ever!More

this is hotel when the female of a honeymoon couple was murdered. they changed the name to LUX;*Grand Gaube if you get room 1025 your in same room as the murder took place i visited the place in 2016. its very out of the way and if you want to explore or even find a shop you will need a car also their is no private beaches in mauritius all beaches are public that is a fact. i loved the mauritian people very down to earthMore
We had the most amazing honeymoon in May 2017. We were on an all inclusive package which is the only way to do things in my opinion. The staff and resort were breathtaking, I can't wait to see what the refurbished hotel will offer. This place is a paradise for Vegans such as myself!!More
This is a 5 star plus property and I went to Lux Grand Gaube in April and still have the holiday blues!! It's such an amazing place, I couldn't fault a thing! The staff, the food, the beach, the pool, sports activities, rooms, amenities, restaurants all absolutely amazing !!!! The hotel is Heaven on Earth and the staff of Lux are very much helpful, friendly and caring. They wear white dress and every day make dreams come true. The best 3 days of our lives spent here and if you want to visit a caring helpful and blissful hotel in Mauritius Lux Gran Gaube is the place. Superb experience with family from the beginning to end. Strongly recommend for family stay.More
