A pebbly beach over the road and shops and bars on the doorstep – this hotel ticks all the right boxes.
The Silva Beach has landed a great location – a small pebble beach is just across the street and Hersonissos is less than 10 minutes’ walk away.
The 312-room hotel has a Greek village feel, with stone walls and colourful bougainvillea. And it’s all framed by some great mountain and sea views.

This place is heaven
Me and my wife spent a week at the Silva Beach Hotel Heronissis in October. This is the second time at the hotel and again we were not disappointed. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were in a annexe room which was so spacious. The food was great with plenty of variety at all meals. The hotel is very close to the beach in fact they had sun beds on the beach for sole use of its customers. The hotel is located in the heart of the town centre which was ideal for shopping. The hotel is highly recommended and will be definitely returning againMore
We stayed in this wonderful hotel for 10 nights in August 2017. Rooms were clean and cosy, food was absolutely delicious, we still miss deserts from Silva Beach Hotel! The beach was clean with free sunbeds and umbrellas (and ice cream <3). All the staff was pleasant, friendly and offered good service. My boyfriend and I had a brilliant time there and we would definitely recommend this hotel.More
We were a family of 4, two adults and two 14 year olds. Booked direct with the hotel so paid on arrival. It worked out at £100 a day, which for 4 people I think is very cheap. It is located in the middle of the strip and also on the beach. This gave the kids some freedom as were able to go shopping on their own and also dive off the rocks in to the sea. The food was plentiful and of a good standard. After a full breakfast the BBQ on the beach opened and the boys got chicken kebabs or hotdogs before lunch. They could get ice cream all day long from the beach bar too. In the evening there was a good choice and also an Asian corner which my husband used a lot. We tried the burger restaurant, but once was enough. The Italian up the road was fine but lacked atmosphere. It was more like a cafe or fast food joint. Our room wasn't 4 star but I didn't have high expectations after reading the reviews and it suited us fine. We actually like the quaint look with the wooden shutters on the windows. We had a good size bedroom and a long corridor with the bathroom off it between the lounge and bedroom so the boys on the 2 sofa beds were a good distance away so we didn't have to listen to the Netflix rubbish they watched in to the night . The bed was a bit hard and had no mattress protector so asked for a topper, which was put on that day and made the bed more comfortable. The wifi was fine so all good. One boy had a birthday whilst we were there and they left a cake and a bottle of fizz in the room. It was a really nice touch. The evening entertainment was rubbish but we tended to find a quiet corner and play cards whilst cuddling up to the local kittens. The beer is fine but the wine not so good. Tended to drink gin and tonic or cocktails which worked fine. Everywhere was kept clean and the staff were friendly to me. My favourite was Maria at the beach bar. If you took the time to be polite and friendly it was worth the effort. So many people just go up and demand their drinks without even a smile, I don't understand it. It makes all the difference. We all said we would happily go again.More
Beautiful hotel, food, staff & location
We stayed at Silva Beach 22nd-29th October. We arrived at 10.30, porter took us and our bags to the room. We had an annexe room which was dated but clean and comfortable, housekeepers were excellent and friendly. Restaurant was clean and food was fantastic, we had a fussy 13 year old girl with us and don't think I've ever seen her eat as much as she did at the Silva Beach. Drinks were lovely and despite it being end of season we had 4 evenings worth of entertainment. Beach is fantastic, lovely sun beds on the beach. Staff were amazing, really can't fault any of the staff, always working hard and probably the friendliest we've encountered. We will definitely be returning to the Silva Beach. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay perfect.More
Stayed for 10 nights from the 10th till the 20th October and enjoyed every minute. Rooms as set out village style round the complex, we had a side sea view room not far from the bar but never had a problem with noise. Food was amazing with a huge choice, still missing the lemon cheesecake it was fantastic. The break was to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we booked La Strada the itallian for that evening - wow. 3 course meal was perfect, couldn't fault it. All staff from the cleaners, restaurant, bar, porters and reception were friendly, thank you for the warm welcome - you all work so hard. We were lucky enough to be able to hire our room for a late check out on the last day, so much more civilised. Hersonissos is a small resort that's big enough to explore when you fancy a wander down to the harbour or up the strip for a coffee / drink. Would recommend the Silva Beach and would book again.More
